Nah. Just pair these broadheads with their arrow inserts, which is just “punching a hole through the atmosphere”……1:00 mark….

If you think ol Andre solved all the problems you didn’t know you had…. Go to 9:38 of this video. He talks about how the military can use his idea to improve their long range missile system. we don’t need aerospace engineers or NASA… we just need Andre!!!

Ok watched it.. I’m unsure how fluting the front insert and then adding a counterweight flute on the rear, really would affect flight. But I am pretty sure that when you hit that animal from an elevated angle, if meat and tissue are clogging those holes, it’s not gonna act like a stint in an artery and magically make a ton of blood leak out. However it could prevent the wound from closing up which will help make sure bacteria forms, the clog won’t occur and the deer will die but it may be days later. The biggest thing I am getting from this is he’s adding 120 extra grains to his arrow and using a fixed broadhead. That’s not a new concept at all. I can see it flying straighter than a high FOC arrow since the weight is added on each end to keep the arrow balanced. Be interested to see if the military suddenly starts using this on their missiles. Or perhaps they already do and his patent doesn’t apply because he’s using it for arrows not aerospace? Any military minds care to share their experience with missiles?
I’ll stick to my fixed single bevels with brass inserts and high FOC personally

Yea but using football helmet technology from 2006 isn’t the same as completely changing how a missile is launched or flies. Seems like Andre is aware of this program and if his patent is applicable, he will make a fortune. With missiles though I thought they wanted the weight in the front so that it lands nose down with the explosives…

Gotcha. But that is far from the point.

NASA, the Navy, and the Air Force don't need Andre to solve something that he's just tapped into. Super Cav technology has been out for almost 20yrs with both US and Russian military programs. Look up super cavitation or more specifically Underwater Express and Shkval.

You'd think he would have looked into it before sounding dumb making a statement like that.

Not a range finder but I drooled a little when I saw this in some shot show coverage:

Me too, I'm looking forward to some reviews and real world applications. Ive shot hogs at night with friends thermal units because I cant afford a good unit, if these are in the price range they say, and allows you to pick up heat signatures at 300-400 yards I'd be real interested. Most of the time I can stalk to within 50 yards for a shot pretty easy at night.

FX Outdoors (air gun company) has a radar/chronograph coming out. For all the serious gun guys and ranch fairy followers.

Wonder if Caldwell will revisit the VelociRadar this year as well, which was allegedly held up by chip shortages the last year or so.

I realize that you were referring to the fact that the military is incentivizing small business and sports tech companies to share technology and ideas with the government to advance our capabilities. I think it’s a great program. I’m not hating on him for the arrows at all, although I don’t see them being the best option for myself.
It’s definitely a different option for arrows and flight.
That saddle and connection though. Well like I said, I disagree with the points brought up on that particular video. I will forever be a fan of their platform and sticks though
