New Gear release 2021

Regarding Iron Will Broadheads: I don’t know if it’s rust on the blade, per se, or simply tarnish. I use a very fine polishing cloth on mine at the end of the season, coat them with a very light sheen of oil and put them back in their pelican case for the off season. Crack it open at the start of season and they look good as new. It’s an additional step and somewhat of a pain, but the quality of that hardened A2 steel is worth it IMHO.

What oil do you recommend?

? Can you elaborate, they have alot of choices. I'm interested in cheating.
I have the pro pack-1, the price might make you vomit haha butttt I use it a lot. I’m always sharpening my kitchen knives, game knives, broad heads and other tools. It really is the best out there. You can get the WE-100 for $150 less than the pro pack. Look for returns on Amazon, that’s how I got mine.

That’s Iron Will’s weakness is the rusting of their steel...I’m considering Day Six as I already use their arrows and components and Brian is a stand-up dude...I was honestly worried that the rounded edge would be harder to sharpen though? Is it not?
It’s the opposite, they sharpen very even. You’ll get a much more consistent bur with a rounded edge. I don’t know how you would get a matching tonto tip edge on each side of a broad head like the Iron Will has. Even if you use a stay sharp jig, you still have to readjust for the tonto tip, where as you can make a nice sweeping pass with a rounded edge. Mine have no rust and I’ve got them wet plenty this year, the S30V is better IMO.

How do you search for the returns ?

If you have the Amazon app, scroll down to where they have deifferent sellers to buy from. It should say new and used, usually they will offer used things from the Amazon warehouse. That’s all their returned stuff. You can also get a Lansky sharpener for $35 or a stay sharp jig or the same price. Both work just as well.

What oil do you recommend?
I've used mineral oil (large amounts are cheap at your local drugstore and one bottle will last for years) its scentless too. I use a red mechanics rag (something thin or even a shotgun cleaning patch) saturate it with the mineral oil and coat my sharpened broadheads. I put a dab on my finger and coat my bow and other hardware as well (I hate rusting bolts and what -not on my gear). BTW, its a scentless and cheap gun oil too!!! Only thing is, someone may think you have a constipation problem...... that's why its in the drug store.

Are they insane with this price? There are backpacks worth that much, but this will not be one of them. Some of these companies also need to get a copyeditor (e.g., "Molly" and not realizing that is an acronym). I would love to like what they are doing, but it is always rushed and half-baked.

And there are some great ideas in this, but with their experience one would think the noise of the fabric, all those zippers, and buckles would concern them. I am glad it is made in the USA of course, but really it should be priced at half that for what it is. There is nothing in the construction in terms of materials that warrants that price.

If I’m spending $300 on a pack I would be at other companies before LWCG. That pack has a lot of c**p going on. That thing needs to fit and function at that price. No load lifters and you can spend an hour messing with Velcro, buckles and straps just to get set up. I will wait until more info comes out on that.

These guys have more typos than a monkey on a typewriter

Might as well wait until all of their paid customers (field testers...) find all the bugs.

That being said, if this thing was priced appropriately ($75-100), I'd give it a shot for a season. Considering I got a brand new Badlands Superday for $140, this isn't getting a second thought.
