New Gear release 2021

Sooooo what other products are we expecting this year? Anything from treehopper that you know about @Allegheny Tom or others?
I'm completely out of the loop with treehopper. I suspect Mark is annoyed at me because of the mods that I advocate to the Recon and also my trying to convince him to fix his website. I really don't know what happened. I still Love my Recon, drill, and the steps, otherwise, I have no need for new products. I'm dialed in and 100% happy with my system.

Hard to deny the questionable behavior of the LWCG clan from everything to rush releases, hunting citations and of course the drama behind the scenes with past business arrangements
Is their proof of these wrong doings or is this as usual all hearsay from fanboys or fan groups from the one who is claiming pattent infringement?
(saying that im not meaning you or the op)
In my opinion none of the stuff being said has zero to do with anyone but andre and Dan.
let the big boys hash it out.
I get it im a fan of both guys but there is zero proof of any rumors spread from either side.
Its all hearsay. unless something has come out withing the last month
The one citation andre recieved and clearly admitted was really minor misunderstanding
But he paid his and should really not effect respect the guy deserves on knowledge of killing big deer and producing great equipment for almost 30 years.

With there being no ATA this year this is a great thread to let people know about products they may not have seen yet. Lets keep it on topic and so it doesn't get shut down for needless bickering. Thanks!
Is there or their, witch or which ever word it should be LOL, any other shows that are going to happen this year?

Regarding Iron Will Broadheads: I don’t know if it’s rust on the blade, per se, or simply tarnish. I use a very fine polishing cloth on mine at the end of the season, coat them with a very light sheen of oil and put them back in their pelican case for the off season. Crack it open at the start of season and they look good as new. It’s an additional step and somewhat of a pain, but the quality of that hardened A2 steel is worth it IMHO.

I’d agree. The quality of A2 is much better than other “premium” heads and night/day compared to “standard” steel heads. Edge retention with the A2 is incredible. Must shoot to believe.

It’s the opposite, they sharpen very even. You’ll get a much more consistent bur with a rounded edge. I don’t know how you would get a matching tonto tip edge on each side of a broad head like the Iron Will has. Even if you use a stay sharp jig, you still have to readjust for the tonto tip, where as you can make a nice sweeping pass with a rounded edge. Mine have no rust and I’ve got them wet plenty this year, the S30V is better IMO.

S30V is only better because it doesn’t rust. But I’d agree it’s a big step better than most steel heads. Just not on par with Iron Will’s A2.

Your right there but I don’t beat my broad heads up enough to notice a difference. I resharpen after every deer I take and they have held up amazing. i know Iron Will has some way of making A2 harder than normal in its hardening process. Their broad heads are harder but I like the rust resistance on the S30V. To each their own, I’m happy people on this forum can have different opinions and talk like gentlemen. If this topic came up on Archerytalk, it would be 30 pages long with people screaming and cursing haha

I’m with you, buddy. They are both great broadheads, to be sure. I’m also not sure I have the skills and equipment to really get the A2 back to factory sharpness, either, so my knife analogy only holds so much water here—at least for me.

That’s hilarious. I wonder how much longer this forum will remain civilized, AT was great years ago.

Can always give the tuffhead evolutions a try. They are s7 tool steal and are cerakoted. So the only thing you will have to touch up is the blade edge.

I also prefer S30v, S35vn etc... in my knives and broadheads. I have been using Solid broadheads for a long time I buy them everytime I see them in the classifieds. The free sharpening they offer is icing on the cake.... and I don’t have to oil them or dry them off if they get wet.
