New Gear Release 2022!

Just saw that. One stick set up?
Don't they already have the Wingman?

They threw an EDP and a Mission in the cauldron, so it seems to suggest a midsized platform will emerge, which I don't think adds much to the options out there. A lighter EDP maybe, or even better, a climbing platform would be a brew I'd consider.

What would you be looking for in a climbing platform? I'm using an x-wing with an aider now, it works pretty good but I see where that's probably not everyone's flavor for hunting and if you gotta bring some other platform what would the point be?

Something like a mini bottom of a climber stand with platform adjustability for tree lean so just like one sticking but with a platform that you stand on and step off. OR, alternatively, a bit wider of a platform both horizontally and also vertically, sort of like a morphed one stick set up but maybe just 8-12" tall that incorporates an aider of some kind as well. So you cam up the tree with just the platform, more of a one stick platform that is stable but NOT requiring a vertical stick which is more top heavy is what I'm thinking. You're probably too young to remember the original summit steel climbers, they had bottom supports that allowed you to cam up the tree so there wasn't as much junk up next to your legs, more of the support was below the platform. I'm just thinking out loud, but with an aider, you could really cam up the tree and put a lot of stress on a platform like that.

I saw a modified hand climber that had a post added to it like a normal platform so you could climb with it then at height you strapped the post and cammed it down like any other platform. Very cool concept that I could see happening

What would you be looking for in a climbing platform?
1- sub 5 lbs, preferably sub 4.
2- purpose built and not prone to breakage like LWHC
3 - fits all normal huntable tree trunks
4 - flat packing
5 - Easily adjustable to deal with tree taper

I don't need/value the whole lock it tight to tree but, but I know many do so some kind of easy system to do such without any significant weight/bulk penalty might be wishlist #6.

Level or attachment? The 45 hours I work are the most boring hours every week. It's a grind :tearsofjoy:

I'm a bit of a trophyline fan, mission platform is awesome, I've resisted the EDP thus far... And since my kids were both witches this Halloween I appreciate the marketing theme lol. Looking forward to seeing what it actually is

Ok...so it isn't new....why isn't anybody talking about that thing? Seems pretty awesome...
It does seem pretty awesome. I wonder if it works good on smaller od arrows. I have a fuse quiver that I lost a 6.5 out of and it's barley holding my rip xv
