$199, Dang it I got rippedWell, the Fix was introduced at $199.99. So thats 2/3 the price of either of these platforms.
Not saying the value isn't there. But, for mid sized platforms, they are hitting the market at a notably higher price point.
Latitude Speed Series platforms are available for pre order. Both $299. Seriously lightweight at 2.5 and 2.7 pounds each…hmmm

Guess you gotta order another classic with it.
That’s still expensiveThe ambush is still $300….lol

I might of already bought another one.
But it's an XL platform. 16.5 x 14.5. These Lattitude platforms are mid sized.
Even the Predator XL costs more than the Predator, and those are just castings.

Don’t know… don’t care. Looks like a better more functional design for me than either of the custom gear platforms.
Most CAD programs will calculate weight very accurately. +/- a few ounces."Weight calculated with CAD model, actual weight may vary slightly." I wonder how that will shake out.
I'd love to try one, they look nice. I've said this before. But to hit those weights, there's minimal material. I would like to see how they flex, though I don't doubt they are well designed.
I'm not real worked up over the cost, just don't see a price comparison to the Ambush as legit. The X-Wing is not an XL platform unless you're cutting just one.

I agree the comparison is a XL platform vs a not so XL Platform.
I always wait a few months. Pre ordering one now means you get it first. The rest of us will all pick it apart and analyze yours then make statements about how one is better than the other. Latitude will have plenty in stock at that point. Then buy one. But like the one stick, wait a few and avoid all the drama and hassle. Get the second round once the changes and redesign has been done.
Better be the same or the community will walk away and stick with the known platforms for one pound more. The only advantage to buying now is....what will they cost in August...
Did you try and hate the fix?Don’t worry if it sucks as bad as the custom gear platforms I will be sure to let you all know ASAP….
Did you get the xwing or the rebel or both?Xwing
