Hey, welcome!
I remember watching a saddle hunting YouTube video a long time ago, but thought I'd never do it. Since 2013, I've been hauling a Lone Wolf Alpha, sticks, and a pack everywhere. My load out was ridiculous, but it became "normal" to me.
Before last season, I remembered I was having issues with one of my leg buckles on my safety harness. I decided I was going to buy a nicer one, so the search began. It was then, I remembered a video @bowhunter15 "DIY Sportsman" did on using a rock climbing harness in conjunction with a sit drag. It was all over from there.
I ordered a sit drag, which I modified and bought a rock climbing harness off Craigslist for $10. Shortly after, I received my Tethrd Mantis . Hunted out of a saddle all last season and it was the best thing since sliced bread. Hunted more and wasn't sore plus all the other obvious benefits.
Good luck, stay safe, and have a blast! Welcome again!
