I was the first guy to sell a locon limit on AT for what everyone labeled an absurd price. I believe I listed it at $225 which isnt real far off from this new price. Mine was absolutely MINT, it never spent a night in the woods. That stand hurt my ass worse than anything I ever sat in. I could get down with the small platform but not the seat. Makes me laugh to think about everyone pissn and moaning I sold that stand for that price. The guy who bought it was thrilled. Told myself I wouldnt buy a $500 LWCG but life changed for the better and $500 didnt seem so extreme anymore.

I’ve got a stand with the pack, essentially new, listed if anyone is looking.
I’ve got to make a trip to FedEx tomorrow to ship a few more thing, so I might cut someone a decent deal tonight.

You had Posted a compelling review. What are you using for the upcoming season?

I’ll likely be carrying the JX3 the majority of the year. I had planned to use the WW and a Waldrop PacSeat, but having the ability the hunt from the ground or a tree with the JX3 provided more flexibility.

I also picked up an XOP Sit and Climb earlier this week that I think I may like.

I don’t really have anything negative to say about the stand. I still think the way it integrates with the fleece pack is a better way to carry a hang on than any method I’ve seen with any other stand out there. It makes it so easy to set up and no metal on metal when packing sticks in or taking them off the pack.

You won’t see another price drop on it and I certainly wouldn’t be sad if it didn’t sell, haha.

Are these stands still for sale? I don’t see them on the tree hopper site.

Any more pictures of the new strap setup? Preferably on the tree? Are these stands still the same price?

Has anybody ever tried drilling new holes and moving the bolt down a hair to change the angle of the bar and seat?

I remember some folks complaining about the seat bar digging into their legs. I wonder if this would fix it. Is this even possible?

I'm also wondering if it's possible to move the whole seat assembly down lower to modify it for kid-with-short-legs usage...

I am very interested in that, my current mobile stand seat is to tall for wife and kids

I ordered one to try out. It’ll be interesting to see and use it. Between my 14 year old and me, we’re always looking for mobile setups.

Still using and happy with mine. I used it for half a season when I bought it and all this past season.
Edit- I did swap to longer seat post after the first season. I think the ones that came with mine were 17”. Mark is offering longer, 20” ones now. I find it much more comfortable after the modification.

Some pretty compelling reviews in this thread. Is everybody still liking their windwalker? Or did you move into something else?
I got one to use for my daughter, something light enough to vary in with a saddle setup. I got the fleece pack too. She never had an interest. I’ve never used it but it is light and a useful product IMHO.

Mine worked well and modding it for a different seat made a monumental difference in comfort sitting. Modding it to level also helped a lot.
