Novix tree stand!

Is this a novix thread or a boot licking LWCG thread? :imp:

How do you feel the Novix compares to the LWCG?

Well big V’s matter and I would prefer the gently sloping taper from front to back...like the alpha, helo And *GASP* beast stand for getting on and off the stand

dude your a troll and have been the common cause of all beast gear threads being closed...do you even hunt?
I disagree I provide counter arguements. Not always popular but I stay respectful. We can agree to disagree and that s fine

And to be fair I didn’t post criminal records or call any names toward any person. So I again I doubt I was the “cause”

Well I should of chosen my words more wisely and be more respectful. Your arguments lack merit and if one disagrees with me should read the closed beast threads with your rhetoric. Anyways to get back to the Helo...I don’t own one but for dollar per dollar value I would recommend the Helo to nearly everyone.

I agree for the $$ it looks solid had it come in sub nine they would of crushed the mid size market. I would enjoy your expansion on how my comments lack merit…That’s a conversation for another day.

I had high hopes for the beast and was incredibly disappointed. Hopefully he learns a few thing like not cutting so many corners. I would of loved to have the beast stand that debuted at deerfest a couple years ago.

The helo is my preset stand.

I will have my 1.0 and my .5 I will probably never use and my ROS I will use every hunt…

I've never had a Millennium shift on me.

On some of the big trees I end up hunting, I'm not sure any of these stands provide more than two points of contact at the platform. I suppose the wider those points are, the better. I'll have to get a sense of how much of an impact that makes. I have a .5 and Alpha and Assault 2 to compare.

I wonder why there aren't "v"brackets with a series of steps, narrower towards the centerline, angling outwards at some point. The Shikar sticks incorporate this concept in a rounded solution to tree geometry.

Ill keep my snarky comments to in person conversation and I’m sure the SH community would appreciate that we all did.

Yeah...I wish the beast stands “bat wing” bracket were less aggressive teeth similar to the modern beast sticks...and the distance from the knob to bracket seems like it could be expanded but can’t tell if it will be an issue...but the shape of the platform IMO is perfect...ROS4LIFE

Now I see your earlier comment about LWCG was a setup for another ROS hijack :)

Don’t make me bring up how a hand drill and bolt system is by far the most the mobile most superior way to climb a tree...a fella name Warren may agree with this statement

I really love my beast stand, but I'm pretty much in the same boat with it :tearsofjoy:
I can't stand the thought of a stand on my back when my Cruzr XC and one sticks weigh practically nothing
I might just mount my stand next to another mount on the wall since it looks good lol

Out of curiosity can you provide the ready to hunt weight on the new 1.0 ?
I have also had the LWCG 1.0 however it was the original which is lighter than the current model.
