Nutterbuster and Scooby-Doo

it's unstoppable! This coming from someone who's been driving 4wd gm vehicles for 30 year

Man o man.....that is just too funny right there.

That's funny. When I was researching them I remember reading about a marketing company identifying that lesbians were a target market. They deliberately snuck references to that lifestyle into their ads to tremendous success.

Guess I can add "drives a lesbian soccer mom car" to the list along with bambi killer and crossgun hunter.

I always thought jeep wrangler was the preferred lesbian mode of transportation

Check out solidwoodworx on YouTube for some cool builds on some subarus. Working on the RutRunner for next season, guys got some great ideas

Have you considered the salesmen may have thought you were a particularly beefy lesbian

A guy I work with did this to a Crosstrek (this is a pic from the internet but his looked just like this). We both work in the stone industry and spend a lot of time in quarries all over MD and WV. His car would go anywhere a full size truck would go and would turn around in places a full size truck can't.

I've pulled full-sized trucks out of ditches with my outback....easy peasy....evwry time I've stopped they laughed or smirked but when I throw them my own grade 8 chain they stop pretty quick.... my 2.5xt standard will climb a freakin tree with studded haks on it...

Currently both our main cars are outbacks. Oh, and crocodile dundee was badass.

I bought the wife a 2015 forester 3 years ago. Love that car. It has been great and gets around great in snow ,rain, etc. I like it so much I am considering getting another one but I am waiting on my titan to die. Bought it new in 05, I have 248k on it and its still going strong. I often have secretly wished subaru made a truck.

My 2004 suby outback sport threw a rod at 247,000. Thats impressive on the titan!! Though my ahem....Plymouth neon, yes I said Plymouth not dodge...did just over 315,000..my mechanic laughed at me when the starter went and said "just let it rest in peace, it owes you nothing"....

Yeah it is kinda a quest now. I wonder just how far I can get that truck to go? 300k, 350k more? It is just now starting to have a little cancer at the rear wheels but everything else is going good. Drive till the wheels fall off right!!
Getting back to the 'ru topic I had a mechanic neighbor and he had an outback with around over 300k on it and told me he thought he could another 300k with it as along as he changed the oil regularly. As long as nutterbuster don't drive it into the swamp it should do just fine running around killin critters with it.

A lot of the rural mail carriers around here drive them so that should say something to their reliability and capabilities on crappy roads. I tend to base my used vehicle purchases on what they drive.
I've had good luck with GM and Ford though so really can't find a reason to make the switch. The wife and I both have long commutes and have put over 300k on a few vehicles throughout the years. Usually around the 300k mark, the salt from the winter roads here has eaten a shock mount, frame rail, etc. and they're destined for the junk yard.

I have had several Subaru’s. If you want a do it all vehicle they can’t be beat. The only downfalls are that they eat tires and aren’t as reliable as Toyota’s. If I couldn’t have a truck AND a gas sipping car I would probably have a forester.

I have a Subaru Crosstrek that I've been use since 2014 when I bought it new . Now with 116780 miles it still going great and it can go anywhere in the snow with the AWD. You should be very happy with a Subaru.

I use a 3.8 Dodge minivan has great gas miles has room to sleep a tv in it plus she can take the family on vacation s and of course the salmon river ny salmon fishing trip that we so much need every CPL weeks in oct n Nov

Soon as the dealer fixes a little dent in the door that I fussed about I'm taking it to a uhaul and getting them to put a 2" hitch and trailer wiring on it. I bought a $50 Harbour freight hitch rack last year and I will never try and drag a deer up into a pickup bed again, much less put one in the trunk.
For those not as well equipped as you and still have to put one in your car, go on amazon and buy a body bag. Yep, they sell body bags with full zips and as you can imagine they are built to not leak! Work great to keep things clean.

Took the wife on a short, 1300 mile weekend trip to check out the Smokies, Cherokee NF, Nantahala NF, Chattahoochee NF, and Little River Canyon NF. Rain canceled our trip to tent camp on the Alabama River so we figured we'd burn gas and see what we could see from the car. The sube handled rain and a little snow pretty good.

Side note. There are apparently elk in North Carolina. And rednecks should not drive to Cades Cove. Saw more deer and turkey there in an hour than I saw all year in Alabammy, along with 2 big ole gobblers with their beards sweeping the oak leaves.
