Knock yem deadThese petting zoo…I mean State Park deer won’t know what hit them. Wish me luck, as I hope to earn some points for the team. Be safe out there men!
I've found that you can almost pet them when you're in plain clothes on a trail but get off the trail and in a tree they are just as wary as anything else. They certainly do. It seems they can sense the intentions. I’m certainly not a threat. Zero shots takenI've found that you can almost pet them when you're in plain clothes on a trail but get off the trail and in a tree they are just as wary as anything else. They pattern us pretty well.

Agreed! Hoping to add points to the board and meat to the freezerAlright team, time to get some more points on the board. It’s thanksgiving week, maybe an extra couple days off work. Time to get up in the tree in our tree diapers and do the lords work of conservation. #sundaypeptalk

Good luck finding him!Well team. Hoping to 11 points for us soon. Buck stepped out about 10 minutes to last light. Arrow looked good of course but it happened so fast I am not sure where I hit. He was slightly quartered away and the arrow did not go through all the way. If I was guessing I'd say I got at least one lung real well. Hope to have a positive update in a couple hours. Or the morning
You da man!Just did!!!
Looks like some good eating . CongratulationsSo I had originally planned to hunt hard and sit all day in this 24* weather. Then this little fella came bee-bopping 5 yards under my stand at 7:15. Should I have waited? Probably.
But no going back now. Already got him in the cooler, showered, and am eating grits, eggs, and coffee now.
Ro'tide.
