No home made webbing from DanO. I'm gonna take one off and just use one 18 inch aider. It's to much with the buckles.@KYhunter66 ultimaider?
I think you're going to be happy with those.
Did the hair tie work? I need to do something with the noise!Any other add-ons, tips to get this thing together?
I added a hair tie doubled up and put it between cleat to quiet the jaws down when removing rope. Going to try and make a wire from hardware store for handle not worried about an a aider for now
Really nice I have 6 treehopper steps on OCB the bat platform is small but I wanted it that way. I like steps better and I'm gonna use it some with my .5 and repell downHow was comfort with that platform + ROs?
Yeah my season over! I was just testing it for next hunting season. Rappelling is really nice I was down quick. I think it's faster than sticks for me. I just don't want to carry sticks anymore with neck and back problems. The only problem I had was I didn't pull my pack up and forgot my pull down rope so I had to go back down and back up needed the practice any way!!Gotcha, that’s why I went with raptor up top a little more room but it’s a next season setup for me. I have Bullman pioneer steps I plan on using with it
I used webbing and fram buckles from DanO I went back to 2steps 18inches apart and also has 2 tri glides on middle step. I didn't use the slot it's sharp.I used rubber tubing over the webbing and around the step.@Chrighton in your first picture, the aider that’s thread through the slot on the Bat, is that just webbing and a Tri glide?
Trying to figure out a way to get 2 steps onto mine, amsteel or webbing. I have a pre-made 2 step amsteel aider but only way to attach would be maybe soft shackles
