One sticks (rabbit hole... nothing to see here)

Need to get maybe a wire handle for the top so it’s not tightened down yet but it’s put together at least!

I think you're going to be happy with those.

Any other add-ons, tips to get this thing together?

I added a hair tie doubled up and put it between cleat to quiet the jaws down when removing rope. Going to try and make a wire from hardware store for handle not worried about an a aider for now

Did the hair tie work? I need to do something with the noise!

Yeah I just doubled it like you would a rubber band, if that doesn’t for you, I’ve seen people tie a piece of paracord too

Added DIY wire handle, about 5-6” this was out of a 2’ piece. Drilled 2 small holes in cap to run it through and will add a 3-4” piece of paracord as a pull tab

I just used the beast one stick today with the bat platform's on top and bottom working good so far with one 18 inch aider. It was my first time one sticking definitely need more practice. Definitely nice only carrying one stick in and pack with my ring of steps. Had a little problem getting my rope down! I was useing the rubber washers as a tether keeper.

How was comfort with that platform + ROs?
Really nice I have 6 treehopper steps on OCB the bat platform is small but I wanted it that way. I like steps better and I'm gonna use it some with my .5 and repell down

Gotcha, that’s why I went with raptor up top a little more room but it’s a next season setup for me. I have Bullman pioneer steps I plan on using with it

Yeah my season over! I was just testing it for next hunting season. Rappelling is really nice I was down quick. I think it's faster than sticks for me. I just don't want to carry sticks anymore with neck and back problems. The only problem I had was I didn't pull my pack up and forgot my pull down rope so I had to go back down and back up needed the practice any way!!

@Chrighton in your first picture, the aider that’s thread through the slot on the Bat, is that just webbing and a Tri glide?

Trying to figure out a way to get 2 steps onto mine, amsteel or webbing. I have a pre-made 2 step amsteel aider but only way to attach would be maybe soft shackles

Yes, 1in tubular webbing with frame buckle. Similiar to ultimaider. EWO sells great little abrasion sleeves, not sure if I have those on that one or not, but they are crazy cheap and effective.

I used webbing and fram buckles from DanO I went back to 2steps 18inches apart and also has 2 tri glides on middle step. I didn't use the slot it's sharp.I used rubber tubing over the webbing and around the step.
