OOAL MFG Scout Platform

Got my scout platform today and installed on my Beast Stick. I only used the 1 bolt that also goes thru the antler bracket. This seems very sturdy and with the beast stick it really sticks well to the tree. Will need some stand time this fall with it to try it out, but I think this may work well for me especially for single sticking. The platform is well made. During an all day sit I think I would still take my Predator platform for a little more room.

I'm a little surprised that you think the one screw will hold sufficiently . I drilled a second hole for my set - Beast Sticks & Scout. The single screw will take a lot of torque when you are moving around on the platform.

It has channels that will hold the majority of the stress from torquing. Shear stress in the down direction won’t be too bad on one the single fastener, especially with it being at an angle instead of straight down. All two fasteners does is sturdy it up a little more. Either config will work.

I feel the same way. With the way the channel is i dont think its putting too much torque on it at all
