OOAL new product (The BOB)

I saw that. The top step cams over, and folds up out of the way. Very clever. "Best of both"

How does it fold up out of the way? The standoff is part of the platform. You fold it up you fold the standoff off the tree. Rendering it useless as a climbing stick.

All I see is a one stick you can cam over once to height to have a possibly more solid platform to stand on. Never really had a problem myself with a platform top not being solid though….

I don't one stick but I always assumed that standing on top of the stick was less stable then a cam over platform. Is that not true? Can you put as much side pressure on a stick as you can a cam over platform? When I first saw pictures of the BOB, I assumed that was the problem it solved.

When looking at the pictures I had envisioned climbing just like a regular stick but then camming it over at top for a more stable platform.

It also seems to provide some angle adjustment of the platform whereas other one-stick platforms have fixed platform geometry.

I am sure it will get it tighter but like I said I have never had that issue. Never had the one stick budge with side pressure. I do like the platform leveling. But in my opinion the camming solves a problem that doesn’t exist.

I went with the Cruzr Seeker this yr. I don't know about anyone else, but I get foot fatigue with any platform that's flat. I do all day hunts in Kansas each yr. Being a stander, the slant was a game changer.

Usually that would be the case. Not yet. I still can't believe how long you held out to do so on the TL prime. 447? come on man.
