Over 250 club challenge

Back on it after some time off and not feeling great. Day 2 of fiber and power green drink in the mornings with multi vitamin, blaze and renu from MTN ops. I cut down on the carbs (sub 100) and intermittent fast also. My hardest time is when the family goes down at 8 and I don't go to bed till 11. The intermittent fasting helps a ton. Its rough the first few days but once your mind gets right its pretty easy. I am not truly hungry its more of a need something to do....so I eat.

i'd be curious to some of the food choices too. i found that for me keeping track on my fitness pal really helps me out. log everything that crosses your lips. just being self conscience and accountable

Would you mind sharing what you are eating for lunch and dinner today? or yesterday
Lunch
-2 hard boiled eggs
-2 piece of bacon
-1 can of tuna with 2tbsp mayo 1tbsp sriracha
-1/4 cup almonds

Dinner
-chicken breast, diced
-1/4 cup shredded cheddar
-4 cups of spinach
-3 tbsp ranch
-1 avocado
-a couple cherry tomatoes

Ok im in. However, im not a bigger guy. I started a few weeks ago weighing in at 202.4 pounds. I am now 188.8 pounds. I would like to get down to 145 pounds maybe 140 pounds and afterwards, build muscle back up to 155 pounds.
ive got a scale that will connect to my phone and ill take screen shots and post them daily.
ive cut out almost all carbs (i eat only 10-15 carbs a day and less than 1000 calories
the first week was brutal but now my body has adjusted to less carbs and calories. At the moment, im losing 1-1.5 pounds a day. I am also exercising. Not much at the moment, just letting my body adjust and get use to it.
Good luck everyone!

I have been doing the intermittent fasting thing the past 2 weeks. I eat from 5pm - 9pm. Trying to keep carb intake under 25/day. However, my wife bought pistachios yesterday. I think I ate the whole damn bag!!! Gonna crap out a pistachio tree sometime today...

Weigh in: 226.2
Current weight: 223.4
Loss so far 2.8

progress not as good as I would like but at least heading the right direction.

Jan 1st. 294.5 if I remember correctly
Jan 29th 282.5

I do small exercise routine
in the morning every 2 to 3 days. I had to drink a couple diet mountain dews because I was getting headaches from no caffeine.
No bread, sugary sodas (liquid candy) , no cheese, and lots of water.
A friend told me one time that the reason we eat so much is not that we are hungry, but we are thirsty (dehydrated) so we eat when we should be drinking water.

Staying at 247 the last 2 weeks, may try the low carb for a couple weeks to kick start this process. Hard to get motivated when its cold and dark out by the time I get home from work. Been hitting the gym pretty steady so feeling good anyway.

Made it down to 246 this week, eating right with intermittent fasting is working along with some reasonable exercise.

For those looking for some ideas for meals check these out:

For meals I just google paleo or primal dinner recipes and pick something that sounds good and is easy to make.

My normal lunches are just a small salad at the cafeteria at work at or after 12:00, have some almonds with dried cherries and maybe a little jerky as a snack on the way home, dinner is a healthy meat at or before 6:00. This keeps me satisfied for most of the day with a daily 18 hour fast, just black coffee and water in the morning before lunch. I have cut grains out of my diet along with anything with sugar added. I feel much better eating this way once I got used to it, I have way more energy through the day and my mood has improved a lot, I didn't realize how much sugar and carbs from grains were effecting me.

I'm almost doing the same routine. It really is amazing how much better one feels once the sugar gets out of the system.

Todays numbers. 0.8 pounds lost since yesterday
