I was told it was purely related to insurance.I am concerned why the sudden change after claiming a 300lb weight rating less than a month ago at the ATA?

They felt heavier than I expected.Anyone going to show and could give 1st hand feedback on the Latitude sticks .
Hmmmm, I guess to each their own, but they were right on my expectation for me.They felt heavier than I expected.

No it's called marketing!Sounds like BS to me…
Did you try to compare them to the other sticks that were in the archery hall ,cruzr sticks seemed nice.I was there today. Put hands on them, with my brief interaction I was pretty impressed. The standoffs and ears are much beefier than what I thought from the ATA photos. Impressed enough that I bought a 3 pack. Of course they aren't available yet, will be shipped to me.
The Latitude sticks were really nice, the standoff distance is just under 4” from what they told me at the booth.
I also checked out the Cruzr sticks and they were fine, but I was really surprised the rope attachment is 3D printed…
So that show was pretty cool. Nice to see the new stuff.
The latitude sticks would be a no go for me bc I’m so close to the weight rating, but also bc they lack a clean hand hold for climbing up & down.
Tethrd- @ckossuth & Jared nice to meet y’all in person! The fas pack was smaller than I anticipated but looked extremely well built. Imagine if a bandit/Mr treehouse & kifaru had a baby…..
CruzR booth, sure I’m late to the game but their tree kneepad is super nice!!! I picked one up, very compact & will serve better than my current setup.
LWCG seeing their whole lineup side by side us impressive. Not a treestand guy but if I was……. I did ask if they were considering making the new climber base in a slightly shorter profile & they are not…… I still can’t get over how tight 4-4 sticks pack together.
Trophyline- shout out to @Jefferson10940 nice to put a face with the name. That new onyx platform is pretty sweet. Love the shape , should’ve bought one at the show. I’ll find one before next season.
See aboveYes the lack of hand hold and no integrated stacking on the latitude sticks make it a no from me.
yeah, other than new material there wasn’t anything that made me yemp
I had an Onyx but trophyline puts no finish on their platforms anymore and it just bothers me that the platform is all corroded out of the box. It shouldn’t be like that.
I agree that is a weak spot in their offerings but I’m willing to overlook it bc I’ve never paid full retail for one yet, they run great sales a few times a year.
I do think the fix is super nice. Size is about perfect for me and is the most solid platform on a tree by a good margin. LWCG products have come a long way since that ambush first came out …… the fit/ finish on that entire lineup is nice! ( I like the size of the fix, but have come to love the shape of the edp, if uou could combine them it would be the perfect platform “for
The FAS pack a little small for what I need and I don’t like how tight the shoulder straps come together at the top. Did you try their new saddle?
I’m so used to seeing a pack at that quality having lumbar & waist belt I expected it to be bigger….. but it’s a backpack not a frame pack. I’d be curious to know how it feels When it’s 20plus lbs. As for their new saddle I dint even touch it….. but a didn’t pick up anyone’s saddles to look at honestly ( once you find one that works, there’s not a ton of difference bw them)
Because I don’t have the stand-off distance numbers if other sticks readily available, is “just under four inches” similar to what other sticks on the market? The Latitude sticks were really nice, the standoff distance is just under 4” from what they told me at the booth.

Latitude told me it’s the same as Beast Sticks.Because I don’t have the stand-off distance numbers if other sticks readily available, is “just under four inches” similar to what other sticks on the market?
