I used a rachet the other day for my new ROS. Boy I really liked it! I can easily switch out the straps and use it on my platform too. I did order the strap with ocb from EWO so I’ll try that too. I’m not settled on my preference for attaching platform etc…….but I sure liked the ratchet! Hoping I love the ocb but I have my doubts.

Is anyone using Amsteel daisy chain to attach your platform? Any tricks to making it tight? I am running the Seeker platform and want to ditch the buckle straps but am struggling getting it tight enough. Thanks in advance!

I'm running the seeker as well. I am blown away at these for my sticks and my platform The ultimate attachment method.

I have NO DOUBTS anymore about the OCB! It is by far my favorite method and I don’t see changing it. I love using a full size platform, but added 2 of my monkey bars(steps) to the strap. I don’t see changing that either……unless I add a third step.
Ya know, if I add a 3rd step, I can hang my pack on one of them instead of my gear hanger. Then it will be below my feet and outta the way……hmm

I'm very green on saddle hunting, just got my gear and started practicing going into trees. I have the Predator XL and used a daisy chain as the attachment. Dont like it, don't feel stable. I think this OCB method is what I'm looking for in the platform.

My question is how is the end of the buckle attached? Did you girth hitch some amsteel and then put the loop around the platform button to tighten? I can't tell from the picture.
