We're in Southern Maine so not much for hunting cabins except maybe on Merrymeeting Bay for duck hunting and that's rare nowadays. Firearm season for deer doesn't start until tomorrow and they alluded in this mornings press conference that they are working closely with Maine Fish and Wildlife and may tell hunters to avoid the areas that they are actively searching. They have several areas they are searching and the search is widening by the minute. The average journalist seems to be more aware of activism than facts when it comes to guns, gun control laws, etc. Just because an editor signed off on a reporter's reporting doesn't make it factual.
I'm surprised he hasn't been caught by now. I know there's a lot of forest and hunting in Maine, and I hope that no hunters get a nasty surprise when they show up to their cabins.
