Anyone know of any good cheap options for a bag to carry the steps in other than the tactical messenger bag? I'm looking at carrying 6-8 steps. Anyone know of anything?

I bought 2 more sustainment pouches yesterday. I use them on my GI pack and my hunting vest and for my linesmans belt/tether/pull up cord bag on my climbing harness. I also use 1 for my 8 Primal steps. Just the right size for lunch/sustainment, too.Hey I appreciate that man! Wow!! Thats it! Just the corner sliding in holds it in place?
Im making this right away.
The corners slide under and it rests on the crossbar. If you cut it right, it will be tight and will not accidentally slide out, even when loaded with side pressureThanx fb i thought it connected underneath somehow
Thank you veeery much!! This site is awsome!! I have felt alone in saddle hunting for way too long.. Haveing all this knowledge from folks that experiment with thier gear like i do is PURE GOLD!!The corners slide under and it rests on the crossbar. If you cut it right, it will be tight and will not accidentally slide out, even when loaded with side pressure
How far away from the tree is the furthest outside edge? ( how long is it)The corners slide under and it rests on the crossbar. If you cut it right, it will be tight and will not accidentally slide out, even when loaded with side pressure
Instead of cutting buckles off has anyone tried hockey tapeing the catch buckle to silence it? Or are y'all cutting them off to make them cam over more easily?
Okay thanx, im gonna try hockey taping it first. Cause im getting it to cam.over now that ive practiced in the yard some.Cutting the buckles to use the strap as a makeshift WE steps type rope. I think it cams easier tying the WE knot than with the buckles and it’s a plus that you lose the noise.
