Questions about LWCG minis

I'm puzzling over that right now. Inhave a few ideas, and think that I might enjoy climbing with them. I'll be kneecapped when it comes to climbing height though in comparision to my bolt system. But it should be quick and easy.

One idea I've had lately is to switch to a sling pack because I hate dropping my bag to detach my climbing method. Small and compact and attach the climbing method to the bottom side so all I have to do is rotate the pack around and grab whatever I'm using

Well, I just went out to my garage and removed a buckle from one of my original line sold minis. With the knot, the stick was rock solid on a telephone pole. Now the buckles are off of all 4 of sticks. I don't want the lwcg sticks but I sure am glad I watched your video nutterbuster!

Do you run the double step on top only with stock step on bottom?

I’m wanting to cut mine. I have the double step on top of my full size sticks. Didn’t know if I should double step the bottom as well.

I run the double step on the top of my top stick only, The standard steps work fine for me on the way up but I like the double step to stand on when I’m setting my platform

I had to do a double take to make sure it was you when I watched this. I didn't see the crocs and thought something was wrong lol

So I've been playing with them this evening. The buckleless rope wraps around the standoffs in a figure 8 fashion pretty well. So that's rope management taken care of. They pack quite well in my gameplan gear crossover, and I think I can get them on a couple of my other packs. My silent Reaper will need a modification to attach them.

Climbing with them, I'm doing good at 5'10" to hit 15 feet sans aiders. A 2', CAYG aider used at each stick + stepping up to my ROS should get me to 25'. I may just shrug and accept a lower hunting height.

My question is what the heck are we gonna do with 1000's of now useless lone wolf buckles? Recycle? Seriously, thx for saving me the extra weight!

Could tou show closer how you are using just the strap to wrap the button

I would also like to see this up close. I tried it with my hawk heliums, and they slip a lot. i'm probably missing something, but i'd like to see your technique. thanks.

Pretty sure my modded LW sticks are about the same weight. I certainly don't have that kind of coin put into them.

I agree with @Nutterbuster (I think that's twice now I'm going to the doctor). Overpriced

Hey guys, hang tight. I'm working on uploading a quick video on how to tie the sticks on with a buckleless strap. @enkriss posted the video on LWCG's website, and I show it in my video, but in both instances the "good stuff" is buried in the middle of the vid.

I'm also doing a video on the two ways I've put the sticks on a backpack. It may be a second before I can do a climbing video, since I'm currently saddleless and don't have a RCH or TMA harness.

Like you say I can’t believe no one has thought of this before. So simple.

I have a feeling this might hurt the Versa strap sales
