Even for a mod @GCTerpfan sticks out as that person in my mind. From showing people the saddlehunting ropes, getting people into trad, inviting people to come shoot his 3D course, or even hunt his property, @GCTerpfan has been very generous to many of us. I’ve almost felt bad with number of times I’ve reached out of the years to bug him with saddlehunting and trad tuning questions, among a plethora of other things haha!

Appreciate the kind words. I’ve meant some really good people on here and even picked up a couple hunting buddies over the years that have been equally as generous.

Although, my wife has told me I shouldn’t invite so many strange men from the internet to my house or hunting camp. She said one of these guys are going to turn out to be a “weirdo” :tearsofjoy:

Oh wait, who was that new guy that posted in the Live From The Saddle thread about trying climbing methods for the first time on the day he was going hunting. Had a couple close calls and almost got stuck in a tree several time. That was definitely sketch. @Plebe are you on the case? Need help finding out who that was.

I had that thought as well. I'm a pretty happy guy. I just can't understand some of the methods guys use or "create" to climb a tree or kill a deer sometimes. Seems to unnecessarily over complicate things. I got into this over 20 years ago to make things simple.

However, I'm always here to help.

The last time I needed a new snowmobile helmet, a small crowd formed around me at the sled dealership, kinda of like a booner on the tailgate of a truck at your local pub during season… I tell everyone it’s completely full of brains too! :tearsofjoy: :tearsofjoy: :tearsofjoy: :tearsofjoy: :tearsofjoy: :tearsofjoy:

I will reluctantly take the "cheapskate" title but I prefer it being called frugal.

As far as the smack talk champ.. all I gotta say is u guys ain't seen nothing (curse u @boyne bowhunter and ur powers of deletion).....I'd have majority of u balled up in the fetal position crying in the corner if I could speak freely
