That’s what it looks like. One of the properties I hunt abuts the turnpike and there’s a dot dump sight but it’s nothing like that. That pit is one carcass short of looking like nazi germany

Took the family for a walk in the woods this afternoon. Not far into the woods we stopped because my youngest got into some thorns and was not happy. I picked him up and started pointing out some deer poop to shift his mind. As I'm showing him that he turns a little and yells "Deer Antler!!!" So my 6 year old scored his first shed. My 9 year old was ticked because he has yet to find one.

Currently relaxing on the couch with my youngest....with his antler. Talk about a happy dad!

Found 5 sheds this year so far and 3 dead heads. Probably walked 30-40 miles so far this season, but I’d say 50% of bucks here are still holding

Nice job. Do you all take your find home or catch/photo/release? Particularly the deadheads, they look... Odoriferous. If you do take em, contractor trash bags?

Perhaps I should return where I found that small buck in the water during season and see if its still there/what condition it's in.

I took the sheds with me, unfortunately dead heads in our state can’t be retrieved without a tag from the GC which they charge $10 per point

Wow. I wonder how many people just saw em off below the pedicle then and act like it's a shed. (Not that I'm saying we should be lawbreakers lol) Supposed to call and register them here apparently but it's free. And nobody I've talked to actually bothers registering them. I would I guess, because I try to be a rule follower and it's free... Suppose I'll have to find one first for my opinion to count.
