I am curious what others are shooting with recurves and longbow.
We are all different in draw length and shooting styles as well as our bows are not of the same efficiency.
So two similar shooter bow combos maybe night and day different.
Please list one bow, your shooter, not everything you own. Length of bow, poundage, brace height.

Arrow length, spine, insert used, point weight and fletch.

I shoot a 64" recurve, Das dalaa 21" aluminum riser with medium Border hex 6 wood core limbs.
The limbs are marked #46 on a 25" riser and give me #50 at 29" draw length on my 21".

My arrow is a full length Victory Gamer 500 with a 100 grain brass insert and 250 grain field point.
Three 4" banana feathers, left wing on a cap wrap. Total weight is 580 grains and is 13.6 gpp. @ 175 fps.

I use a 100 gr. brass adapter with a cutthroat 160 gr. glue on si gle bevel.

Side note about this arrow set up.
I have let several people shoot them out of various bows and I can tell you they fly good for many a bow. ( don't need to be bananas or lw)

My go to saddle hunting bow is a 54 inch Browning Backpacker that I picked up here. #55 lbs draw. Im bracing it at 9ish". Homemade flemish twist string. I have no idea what woods are used in it. Its ugly as sin with a rattle can camo job. Im drawing to about 28 inches.

Shooting Easton Traditional Only carbons cut to 29". Im shooting 3ea 5" shield cut fletchings. 100 grain brass inserts, full length 3/8 poly rope run through the center of the arrow for weight. Whatever nocks came with the arrows. Im shooting 175 grain Wensel Woodsmans. Im at around 630 grains arrow weight.

I have no idea what the arrow speed is. I get pass through when deer dont duck the arrow!

I have had a wide variety of bows; probably close to 20 different makes.

I am currently shooting a Primal Tech from a guy in Tyler, Texas. It's one of my top bows I have ever owned. I have managed to kill 2 deer and quite a few hogs with it in the last few years.

It's 64", #52@29, and I am shooting full length black eagle vintage .500's out of it.

Movehuntir, since traffic is low on this topic I will share the last bow I built about two years ago.
I been giving it a rest.

It seems like there's less of us single string shooters every year..4F65FB4D-F5C0-42B1-A1CD-474F19FC73B1.JPG.jpg

By basic calcs thats whatd you think. The bighorn doesnt seem to get much harder past the 29". my cheapo spring draw-weight-checker-thingy reads right around 70 at my full draw-brace is probably set a little low as well.

I cant reconcile the 31"+ draw with the medium/large clothes you usually sell. You have must some crazy long arms or anchor at your ear. :)

HAHAHA!
I"m mostly selling them because the arms are too short!
I"m about 6'3", 188lbs(about 15lbs overweight right now :-/) and have a little over a 76" wingspan..anchor at right corner of mouth, thumb on right cheek bone.

I shot a titan 3 with various limbs for 6 years. Mostly high end dryad limbs. Great bow. Sold it to fund my compound when I lost interest in hunting with a single string. I still have a wharfed black bear around.

You like it? This is the original titan which most say they like the best. I thought it would be fun to play with limbs...
