Team 11 thread

Boo. No deer. Had a climb of shame at the end of the night, my carbiner came off my pull down rope. Good thing I was like 24ish feet up. So got that extra practice in. It got windy and I was on track to get out right at end of hunting to. But on the flip side saw another small buck and few doe by the truck.

Was at full draw on a doe yesterday eve. Another doe had slipped in (it was wet) and I didn’t know. She spotted me moving trying to get a shot on the other. Oh well, on to the next. Finally starting to get on deer though. Points coming soon hopefully!

Saw 15 or so today. Missed a doe just before last light. Stupid shot, couldn’t see very well. Got a stand set up for the morning in a known travel route between bedding. Got this guy out there a few weeks ago so maybe him or his one antlered friend behind him show up.

I somehow saw nothing from my saddle today. Had acorns falling around me all day and bumped deer on my way out but they weren't there during shooting hours. Got some deep thinking to do before Tuesday when I head out again.

Funny how the spot you think is great, often sees zero deer.

This spot is a great spot year after year too, today nothing

My wife got pictures of a decent buck up by the house this morning. With the dog out there. Then in the neighbor's yard, then back up on the hill. Sniffing around for does.

Ruff start this morning. Bumped a deer Infront of my sticks I had pre set. Sticks were noisy climbing up, and then my pull up got tangled, lifted my bow and it smashed into the sticks. Plus I was a little behind with the time change, and low clouds seemed to make for good visibility. :persevere:

Man. Hot doe went through a while ago. Small buck chasing. About .5 he ago nice buck across the field was headed where I guess they went. Move over to my other pre set. Not the best wind. But has hot doe trail.

Well. How we looking team? Monday is Michigan opening day for Gun season. I've seen plenty of bucks. Just not in the right spot. Hopen to knock one down Monday.
