Team 13 Thread

I found another shooter buck in one of my favorite spots that I never seen before... A giant 8pt.
He had a doe locked down in a sliver of small trees and thick brush. She tried to make a run for it but he hearded back in there. Today was the last day of bear season so all I could do was watch the show..
He was without a doubt the biggest 8pt. I've ever had in my crosshairs.
I hope I see him again in Rifle season!

Had plans to hunt hard this last of November but been feeling like crap with this sinus crud going around. I’ll at least get a doe on the board when I snap out of this. Second firearm season next weekend then i have a muzzleloader tag the following weekend. Drew a bobcat tag this year also so been anxious to get some traps in the ground. Have fun out there guys.
 
I only got one day in the woods with the rifle. I'm planning on adding a doe to the freezer this Saturday but, that won't help our score.

Who's still hunting?

Will be at it until 10 February. 2 weeks of leave I have to burn before December ends. Rut kicks up mid-late January, so my hopes are still high for a biggun.

This is terrible but I shot a doe in rifle season here in pa and forgot to take a picture until it was completely deboned. So I’m gonna have to get another one so we can get that extra 5 points!

Kinda funny.
I let much bigger bucks walk earlier but I got to hunt through the rut and be in the woods as much as I could.
I’m super happy with the outcome! I had a lot of awesome experiences. It's been a good season so far. (I still have doe tags)

Got home yesterday. Tomorrow morning when I fire up my computer for work I’ll get you the details. It wasn’t an easy week but Friday we saw a lot of deer movement with the warm up
