Ok well that confirms that either something happened in shipping and I didn't dona good job with my level, or I'm just doing something wrong. But good info all the same.

Well. Saw a few does way off. Guy to the south decided it was a good day to cut wood... Was hoping he kicked something out to me. Gonna hang here for a little more. But gotta get my deer from the processor, and want to take the kids hunting tonight.

I’m with you. My foot has been super ticked at me since Monday. Couldn’t make it to the woods this morning or get down the steps real easy. These deer are cruising too

Hope the foot heals up quick! I'm packing for PA, highly unlikely I'll hunt up there but if a buck walks past the house (they occasionally do wanter pretty close, and I've seen more sign at the back of the property but that would require an actual hunt) I may go after it. Their property is on a sharp Riverbend, most of it is flood zone, Japanese knotweed and cottonwood trees, with a thin band of mixed hardwoods, a 2 acre clearing that the house is in, and small pine forest towards the back/road side. I've seen most deer sign (not surprisingly) near the oaks pretty close to the house, so assume it's a lot of nocturnal feeding activity. Every time I go I regret not bringing a game camera, but mine are still in the woods taking pictures of racoons and turkeys

I feel like whoever gets me on their team next year should get a 20pt handicap. This farm is kicking my butt. Rancher had to move his flock due to parasites and the deer movement has been unpredictable. I’m like the kid that doesn’t contribute to the group assignment but still gets the credit.

No dice but some sign, hopefully I'm getting closer!

Several shots that sounded like I moved too far north from Sundays position. Feels about right... haha right spot, wrong day

Well, someone came down to the farm I hunt.. shot a couple does and another buck over the weekend. Only saw the 3 this morning. If I'm gonna hunt probably headed for public for a while until things settle down around there any way. Didn't see anything with the kids tonight..

That stinks! Public hasn't seemed to be all that busy here, so hopefully you can have some space out there. I honestly think it seemed busier during archery.

Giant herd of does at the edge of my parents property when we drove in last night after dark. If I see something with antlers during daylight I'll go buy a tag.

Hey @thedutchtouch , I had a thought on that scope issue. My vortex for Xbow , the crosshairs in center should be zero at 40yds. There is a 30 and 20yd hash above centerline. Not sure bif your reticle is the same, just thought I'd mention it.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hm good call, I feel like there's only a single cross hair but could definitely be the kind of dumb error i'd make lol let me go look... Nope single cross hair.

played with the mini a bit more today, with the scope turned all the way up and the hha dialed to 40 it's a tack driver... at 20 lol. so tomorrow i'm going to take it all apart and remount it all together once, if i cant get that to work i'll take the hha off and try again that way. i know that's likely backwards and i should start simple first but we'll see...

Well... I got the mini sorted but then caused myself some more trouble. Got the scope realigned and was hurrying trying to finish... And pulled the string off the cams. I know these bows are highly adjustable, and I should be able to get the strong back on when I get home (also need to verify that's ok and I don't need to replace anything?) And finish sighting it in. Annoying, don't hurry people lol.

Well found fresh sign. I thought it more likely morning sign, maybe based on moisture ( droppings) but I set up anyway. No luck but I feel like I'm getting closer to putting something together. Fresh rubs and buck dropping near by. I needed the pick me up! Of course I find this on day 3 of a 4 day weekend hahaha. I've been in there 3 of the last 4 days, trying again in the morning.

Sorry to hear about your troubles Dutch! At least you got one sorted out before the next one came! Safe travels back home

Lol all good, I'm back in Maryland and know how to get it fixed, doesn't look like anything got damaged so I'll restring it shortly and head back to my local archery range this week. We saw tons of doe but no bucks in PA so nothing to get be debating running up the road for a tag. At some point in the future I'm going to hunt that property a bit, but I likely need to scatter some cameras in the woods as I don't visit regularly enough to rely on boots on the ground scouting only. Apparently they've had black babies come though every once in a while too so I'm making plans for them as well, though I don't know much about bears, dunno if you can even bait on private in PA (though my mom likely would t let me if she knew). Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and weekend thus far.
