TEAM 3 - BARK BUSTERS

So guys I have let you down. Trying to get a sticky quiver off my compound bow, the hand slips and meets the broadhead that was not totally pushed up into the hood. Sigh. 3 stitches. Just a delay, but the red oaks are starting to drop here. I figure I can hold a bow in a week or so after stitches come out. Frustrated, but not giving up.

That looks like it hurt. Stay safe and heal fast! There will be plenty of deer in the woods when you are ready.

Dang that’s rough! Glad you’re ok. The deer can wait, but it sucks you were on some hot acorns. I just switched quivers after noticing that the one quiver I have doesn’t cover my broad heads all the way. I had nicked myself before so didn’t want to fool with chancing it.

What quiver was this and what broadhead?

It was a quikee quiver and Magnus 150 broadhead (no bleeder blades). I just didn't fully push the broadhead all the way up under the hood. It does cover them when I do it right.

Soooooo it’s getting kinda gray, but the spirit of the rules are we’re you saddle hunting ( tethered /facing the tree vs sitting in a stand hunting) it gets a little weird b/c of hybrid setups…..
Yeah I agree. I was thinking of me last year in my CRÜZR, standing on my predator platform facing rearward when my buck came in...

Per the rules:

1. The kill must be out of a saddle style stand, any legal weapon is allowed.

I think you should message RedSquirrel and see if you can submit it. We have zero points on the year and its just for fun...

We’re gonna crush this, I haven’t even had a sit yet. It’s all discretionary, technically he was in a saddle & could post it & no one would question it. But I applaud @Hunter260 for admitting he was stand hunting (seated/back against the tree).
