I would really love to get on a pig hunt sometime. We just really don't have any north of the border (there have been some reports of feral pigs here and there, but not appreciable numbers at all).

The SH Membership has gone live. Only SH Members have access to post in the classifieds. All members can view the classifieds. Starting in 2020 only SH Members will be admitted to the annual hunting contest. Current members will need to follow these steps to upgrade: 1. Click on your username 2. Click on Account upgrades 3. I would really love to get on a pig hunt sometime. We just really don't have any north of the border (there have been some reports of feral pigs here and there, but not appreciable numbers at all).
First off, obviously team 5 is cheating. Team 13 & 10 are all in sexual love affairs with their mother in-laws, 12 are communists, 9 are think flag football is legit, 8 & 1 can't parallel park and team 2 rhymes with poo. That puts us in 3 place, which is good enough for a cold on north of the border.
Yeah actually 18! LOL One was a big 8.
All right guys, either get to killing or find a wife like @fbwguy!!

A quick status update just to bump the thread.
Went this evening and could’ve shot my limit with ducks.
No deer but lots of deer sign. Going for an all day sit tomorrow....in the 70degree rain. Fun hunting in Louisiana.

Killed this beast tonight. 5 hour drag out. 180lbs dressed. 8 point with a kicker. How do we determine if the kicker counts? I’ll post kicker pics tomorrow if I can move.
I sat on the ground this morning in the middle of several rubs and scrapes. Heard a deer or squirrels moving behind me just over the ridge. After I got up I went and checked and found a scrape with fresh piss. He was sneaking around me.
Went to the same area in the afternoon and used my novix setup for the first time. Made a ton of noise on a hickory tree managing sticks and that giant platform. Used a YouTube grunt clip because I forgot a tube. This guy showed up shortly after.
Shot him on the high side of the drainage. He dropped but was still moving periodically. By the time I reloaded my powder gun and got out of the tree he had worked his way down into the bottom as a final FU to me. Getting him out of the drainage and 3/4 mile drag took about 5 hours. Was wishing I could quarter him out. First thing I’m buying with stimulus is a quality cart with wheels. The jet sled came in handy for the flooded parts, but was not ideal for the other parts.
