Sending our prayers!
Dear Saddle hunters Hellow Im Angie Silvios wife. Silvio wanted me to send this message to you all. Silvio had a very bad Heart attack while hunting yesterday. Hes in recovery right now so we are past the hard part...A rescue team got him out a remote area and saved his life..he is a non drinker/smoker which helped him stay consous and endure the heart attack. Silvio's main artery was 100% blocked and they put a stint in but he needs two more. Please pray for him right now he needs your prayers
Thank you all
Update, Hi guys it me Silvio, I'm resting from my first surgury...need a second in or around three weeks from now. I'm totally blessed after what just happened on Wednesday. My recovery is going to take some time, as my heart is about 43% of its pumping capacity. They have put me on meds to help heal my lower heart damage. God willing I'll be back in my saddle nxt season going after Freight Train and my new buck I've named Hubb. They were both bedded Wednesday 42 yards away so another close encounter...but never had a shot. Im totally in there bedroom fellas. Anyway while I'm resting I'd like to be our teams buck slayers Coach/mentor...so keep your thoughts and questions coming and we will strategize for success@Silvio and family, I am praying for your speedy recovery and so sorry to hear about this!! Just got on the forum after a few day hiatus. I don't like seeing this at all!!!

Good luck and thank you for all your prayers...love you guys
Yes your so right on...the hard part for me is no shooting my bow, no driving, no working. Being so active and having sit back doesn't fit my lifestyle. I was supposed to be heading to Iowa today so I could film for twin brother Phil for ten days. He was going to cancel his trip to be with me but I convinced him to go. The type of heart attack I had people really don't make it. I'm so blessed by God Almighty and my Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. I wish I could just sit down with all of you at a round table and describe my three sits this yr here in Michigan. I'm going to put a story together about my three hunts which were all spectacular...being so close to several mature bucks but never getting an opportunity...so stay tuned...for truly a great explanation and tactic strategyGood luck @Silvio. I will be praying for a quick recovery. Just think about all the E scouting you can do this year getting ready fir next year and those two big bucks you are after will only be bigger.
Nice Doe! Great Work! Congrats!!The good news is I shot a doe this morning at 35ish yards, but was hunting from the ground so won't help in the contest. I'm shooting a Day Six broadhead and arrow combo that weighs about 550. First deer with the EZV, and it worked great. She was quartering towards me and I centered the V on her chest area. Arrow entered just inside the close shoulder and exited just behind the far shoulder, hitting heart and both lungs. No blood trail because she piled up inside 40yds,. Could have shot a second doe a few minutes later, but was 3/4 mile from my vehicle and it was pushing 80 already. Live weight was 118#, decent for North Florida. One of her back feet had broken and healed weird and she had a black plastic milk carton ring around her other foot.

Botched one this morning - hit a 4 ptr high (I think). Blood trail came to complete stop after 150yds. Tracking dogs going to help now.
I wish I was a headlight on a north-bound train
