You should sell me some of your originals lol@woodsdog2 I've got 5 reveal cams, 3 x models and 2 gen 1s. No issues at all.
You still getting that buck on your camera @hokiehunter373 ?You should sell me some of your originals lol
No, but another guy in the area has gotten him on cam twice. 1 week of the season left. I'll be out on the 29thYou still getting that buck on your camera @hokiehunter373 ?
Ugh! I hope you can get him. Did he move to a different area? We've gotten so much snow and its been so cold here over the last two weeks I'm interested to check my cams to see if its impacted deer movement. Keep us posted hopefully you can get some last minutes points on the board for us.No, but another guy in the area has gotten him on cam twice. 1 week of the season left. I'll be out on the 29th

He hasn't shed yet. Only thing is he came in from the S this morning. Wind straight to his nose, and headed out in the direction he normally he approaches. His winter pattern is certainly different. We're supposed to have 20+ mph NW winds Saturday with strong gusts. Gonna be racking my brain all week deciding how to throw one more hail mary after himWhat do you mean "Still holding both sides?"
II should have understood that.... duh!!! I'm all fixated on your hunting strategy!!!He hasn't shed yet. Only thing is he came in from the S this morning. No. He seems to be heading to bed the opposite direction that he was before. Before he was heading from the W and N to the E. This morning he came from the S and was heading W. Which means he should be feeding in a different location but that location would be the opposite direction of where I know the other guy hunting has gotten pics of him. Honestly, he just doesn't seem to have a pattern right now. The only thing that still is consistent is getting pics of him on wind with N in it but of course that's the majority of the time this time of year. My gut is telling me to just hunt the same general area that I have the history and worst case I have a decent chance of shooting a doe to wrap up the season but my brain has me scouring over the maps to jump into a spot I haven't been in and hoping he's there and worst case learning something new about the propertySo he's heading out to feed the way he normally heads back to bed?
I would think if he's still bedding in that same general area that's the best set up you can hope for but is there some kind of an elevation change or pinch that he has to go through no matter what direction he goes to feed or returns to bedding? Set up there or maybe go in later in the morning and have someone walk that path he's always watching and nudge him to you somehow???No. He seems to be heading to bed the opposite direction that he was before. I'm hunting vicariously through you..... you know that right???
Any more updates on this buck @hokiehunter373 ?Well he has not been back. Meanwhile I've had a ton of activity on another cam including a really nice buck. Additionally, sounds like the other guy I've been worried about shooting him is probably done for the year. Single digit real feel in the AM with 20mph winds. Should also be a fresh batch of snow on the ground. I haven't hunted where the other camera is before but think I might give that spot a try and gain some intel I can use next year. Easy walk with a perfect wind for how the deer come back in the morning. Who knows, might be a coin flip in the AM
