Thank you, I tried to make the best of it when I went back out but it was late at that point.Happens to the best of us. I’ve been hunting for 20 years and lost track of my release last season on a November 7th hunt in a spot i had saved for this time period. Trust me my ears were steaming. Eventually found it but not before walking back to the truck and searching for it and creating twice the disturbance. But honestly those are the hunts where you usually kill one for some reason. I passed a nice looking young buck that morning at the base of my tree. Always something that goes south, it’s how you respond after that that makes the man. It’s all about not letting yourself make a similar mistake again. You have to learn many things the hard way in this sport. Good luck and keep grinding! It’s a marathon not a sprint.

I repacked and organized everything I take into the woods with me yesterday night to give everything a permanent home when it’s not in use.
