The SH Membership has gone live. Only SH Members have access to post in the classifieds. All members can view the classifieds. Starting in 2020 only SH Members will be admitted to the annual hunting contest. Current members will need to follow these steps to upgrade: 1. Click on your username 2. Click on Account upgrades 3. Choose SH Member and purchase.

I went out yesterday morning, but it was pretty quiet. I’ve had a couple bucks daylight over the last week and a half. I’m gonna try again tomorrow and see if I can make something happen.

I didn't have anything come in last night however there is an "outside the ears" 8 that I saw 100 yds from the tree a couple evenings ago. He ended up ambling off in a different direction, tonight I need him to come in my direction.
Hopefully getting out after work today if this rain stays clear. He’s been hovering around daylight for past 3-4/5 days.
Fall season here came and went.. not sure if I should tagged this 8 pointer in front of me or not this morning but trying to hold off for the big guy.

Just got home from 2 weeks at work. Now I have 2 weeks off. 7 days at hunting camp starts tomorrow evening!! Hoping something starts moving soon all the cameras have been very slow.
I had a 2.5 year old 8 point at the base of my tree a few days ago, but he wasn’t quite what I was looking for and he caught my ground scent and got out of there pretty quick! It was a cool encounter though. Sunday starts my rutcation! How’s everyone doing?
Tomorrow starts NH Muzzleloader, I am going to do a little in season scouting. I'm going to hunt into the wind until I find good sign, the set up as the chase is on.
Got an update. Landowner (receptionist) at my office sent me a pic of my #1. I hunt the property behind hers lol he’s alive and well roaming the neighborhood apparently

. Good luck in permit bow! I'm back in the game today except it's going to be 80 so I'm taking my dad and daughter striper fishing. I'll be out tomorrow and then I am doing a special area muzzleloader hunt later this week. I'm off all week so I'll be mixing up striper fishing, bow hunting and muzzleoader hunting. The pressure is off me for the year so I feel like I can spread the love amongst my hobbies

I'm hoping that I can put one on the board sometime in the next 2 weeks. I start my my week and a half Rutcation this coming Tuesday. We have a front coming through that is going to be really dropping the the Temps this coming Monday.
It is officially day 1 of deer camp. 38 degrees and raining this morning so I’m set up in a ground blind for now. Good luck to anyone else getting out!
I went out and sat from 230-dark. I had a couple does come and go 3 times, feeding on the acorns 25 yards from me. The kicker, I had a shooter on cam an hour before I got there! I’ll be back in there tomorrow morning, say a prayer for me haha.
