Alright people, next chance I get to bow hunt is 3 Saturdays from now. Saturday I leave for that double moose hunt up north… With that being said I will NOT have cell service for 9 days. If we happen to punch tags early in the week I will try to put some saddle time in up there. Deer are few far and in between but when you run into one it’s generally over 200lbs. Odds are slim to none but hopefully if I get time my woodsmanship will prevail.
Side note: When I get back I have one final week of bow season during the pre-rut, then it’s game on with my rifle for 4 weeks which includes our rut. Then, Ohio for 9 days for a last ditch effort at scoring some serious points for the team!
As of right now, holding for 8 or better but mainly targeting weight this season, Gutta break that 200 mark…pounds that is.
if you don’t break 200 that moose couldn’t be a bull:tearsofjoy: hahah!! Kidding obviously. Good luck!!

Northeast don’t you have 10 right now? Thought you could have 2 does until you shot a buck?? Unless rules changed and I didn’t notice.

I only entered 1 cause I never took saddle pics with my other 2. I'm not worried, Ill probably shoot 10 more deer this season...
I mean I figured that was probably the case :tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy:

cold blooded killer. Once my season opens I’m out for blood. No blood was draw last weekend in PA. Buddy’s son missed an 8 as I was hanging behind his ladder stand while my buddy scouted a area on the far side of the property. Coulda shot a doe but…it’s early and she was small.

I know this is a long shot, but I have 3 left over 15in sticks and 3 steps with hardware from my lone Wolf full length sticks. Would anyone be WTT for a versa button and 2 stand offs. I have a few knifes, grizzly stick 150 broad heads, ton of AAE Max hunter vanes, etc. or willing to buy depending on price.

I had a fun hunt last night, saw a little buck and got jammed in the tree for about 25 minutes more than I wanted when a skunk was under the tree. I kept trying to come down but he'd get curious and keep coming over.
Hope everyone is doing well and having fun getting out!

Afraid of a little skunk are we. Ha Ha
Yes! I've never had one act so curious. It looked healthy and was acting normal just unusually curious. It was right under me when I was about 3 feet off the ground coming down and I was going to take a pic but was pretty scared of the camera flash and end result.

If I am not mistaken @Apex7 just put us back in the lead!

Side Note: I have a hoss of an 8 point on camera, probably just over 200lbs. Hopefully I can capitalize soon.
taking the bow for a walk this morning before work and dr appt to hang a cell cam and remove a regular one where I found an absolutely giant rub line last weekend… if I see horns….it’s coming home. The dr appt and work can wait hahahaha

I start my rutcation on Monday, I work one day from then until November 19. Hopefully things start to pick up around here as they have been SLOW with these warm temps. If nothing else a couple of freezer fillers would help us out.

I leave for my week long hunting trip to Missouri, I’m hoping with the cold front hitting the mud west I’ll be able to capitalize on the area. I will have limited service so I will post anything as soon as I can. Last year there were a ton of deer and we cashed in on some tags so hopefully we are lucky again this year!

No buck fever. Hung the cam and there was a buck bed about 25’ from the scrape I made just off his rubline. He’s a good one judging by the camera. Hopefully he slips up tomorrow night
