Yeah, but the difference is our avatar is cool.Just a bunch of copycats over here in team 9. Maybe it’ll bring y’all more luck than team 8. I don’t think we’ve submitted a deer since we swapped over to the new avatar.

It’s actually a pretty awesome avatar but not to discredit the artist it could have been a 9point set of antlers.Yeah, but the difference is our avatar is cool.
What size jammy is that?Did my first sit of the year in my work area. I had 4 does come right under my tree acting strange. I figured they smelled me or my crew from the previous day as they zig zagged in a slow trot out of there before I could send an arrow straight down on the nanny doe. Turns out, they had a spike dogging them. He came in trying to give his best grunt and they werent having any. He followed them back towards my truck. I Learned a lot today. It was nice climbing with my bow on my pack. Learned I dont care much for oplux and beal jammy as the beal is stupid long causing my sewn flex bridge to be too short, as well as, the prusik being impossible to tend even with kong mini 8. I also am still struggling with efficiency of the lwhc method. It feels like I am climbing no where fast and made a lot of noise moving the tether up the pine. I havent started strapping the hand climber to tree either. It makes a ton of noise while applying side pressure and dropped about 12” throughout the hunt. Also, the madrock safeguard is really jerky while rappelling and a lot of rope to put away. Pulling the rope down was very noisy as well but its still somewhat fun. Not sure I would deploy any of these methods in my primary mature buck spot. I have a lot to sort out still but felt good to kill some skeeters and see some deer.

My jammy is 50cm. I really dont want to give up on lwhc. So nice not having to cary a platform as well. I guess I do pine as the hardwoods have a lot of little limbs. What method do you use for making the platform solid? I also have 2 ropeman 1’s laying around. I might go back to them. Maybe try one on my oplux.

Its always good to know what you don't want to do. I've been messing with WE steps and SRT because I know I don't want to be carrying around sticks. Tried the knaider swaider on the steps and have realized pretty quickly that that is no go for me.
I've found something that may be the ticket! I'd like to do some more testing before I share, but it's compact, light, and no chances of a kickout!
Brought the camper down last night and am sitting in the rain right now. Gotta love the tree umbrella!@boyne bowhunter You getting ready for that cold front coming through this weekend?
Haha! Atta boy! I have a wedding to go tomorrow(UGH!) but I will be out in the morning for sure. Good luck.Brought the camper down last night and am sitting in the rain right now. Gotta love the tree umbrella!
I have, and if this other way doesn't pan out that's probably the route I will go.Have you tried the one stick method yet? I currently use the WE stepps but picked me up a single stick to try it out. Trees around here are pretty tall I just didn’t want to be adding additional weight/stepps to get higher up. Hoping the single stick method will work out for me.
I've had an Allen umbrella for 6-7 years and love it!Brought the camper down last night and am sitting in the rain right now. Gotta love the tree umbrella!
Anybody going to be hanging out of a tree in the morning? I think I'll be getting out. Looks like it's going to be a cold beautiful morning here in Kansas.
