Welcome everyone! Where ya from and what's your hunting look like (either normally, or this year)?

I live in northeast PA and our season doesn't start until October 5th. Headed to CO next week through October 2nd, but that isn't worth any points lol. Should be an interesting bow season for me; there's a bunch of decent bucks running around, but very minimal acorns, so everything is going to be a bit more concentrated than usual. Depending on mindset after CO, this might be a killing year vs. a selective one for me lol.

Congrats to @bigcat93 for already getting us on the board!

Morning.

From Texas, piney woods area.

Starts the 28th for me, and I hunt as much as possible in october. Have a tag for south texas NWR this year that will get it done. I know nilgai dont count but Ill try to take a nice buck out there as well.

October is time for me to fill the doe tags, as I cant take them after November 3rd.

Be sure to get some points up there.

Central NJ here & gettin’ after it! Got my “earn a buck” doe so now we are after antlers.. unless another plump doe walks by :)

Hopefully I don’t hit a brisket and shoulder on my two target bucks like I did last year..

Good idea. I'm in southern illinois. Ag, oak, hickory, elm. Not very hilly terrain. The only habitat follows the waterways. Lots of ok bucks. Possibly a bad year for ehd. I have 20+ trees prepped on 140 acres. Lots of public within a half hour. Season opens 10/01. My wife and 3 daughters hunt as well. Access is tough, deer can see a long way. Trying each year to shoot a bigger buck like all of us. Have harvested several deer, but have only missed mature bucks.

I'll get two sits tomorrow, two Saturday and one Sunday afternoon.

First doe that's not dragging dotted up milk suckers behind her is gonna get it.

And we need an artsy type to mock us up a big ol 9 point for a logo/avatar.

Evening all. Central Arkansas here. We've got a pretty long season here, and I have the current luxury of having a fair bit of area mostly to myself, which helps with being able to be a little picky. Hoping to take an early doe and be able to see one of a couple target bucks to get some points on the board.

I’m from Wentzville Missouri and can’t wait to start putting stuff on the board!! Good luck to all in the group! I usually hunt 2-3 days a week minimum so hope to at least put 10 pts to the team. Got several good bucks on the radar but we know how that goes
