I think the latest standings included imacorey's latest buck (I may be wrong). He submitted it last Friday and standings were updated on Tuesday. so we should still be up 18 right? someone else check my maths.

The SH Membership has gone live. Only SH Members have access to post in the classifieds. All members can view the classifieds. Good luck sir! And hope you get better quick @EricS I got covid last year during the last 2 weeks of dear season. I hunted the very last day and saw some deer but couldn't bring myself to shoot one cuz I didn't think I could actually to the whole gut, drag, hang, skin and quarter routine without dying.
Also Tennessee is getting a freak snowstorm right now so tomorrow and the next day I may try to back track some bucks. Never done this before, but what could go wrong?!

I haven’t had Christmas with my extended family in a couple years. Covid in 2020. My wife tested positive for the flu in 2021. I tested negative for both about 12 hours after symptoms showed up. I was really rooting for a positive strep test so I could get two days into a z-pac and be social again.
Dr said if I waited a day and tested again I’d likely get a positive and that this week it’s been covid and not the flu. So if I can shake the fever Friday and not have it come back without Tylenol they are saying can participate in Christmas activities. It’s got to get a lot better in the next 24 hours or so.

Conditions in my area have been super challenging. It’s been COLD and there is a very crunchy layer of snow on the ground. The deer are pretty much sleeping in the food and not moving, so getting close is not easy.

I hear that! Nashville hit -1 with a -20 windchill few days ago. Never seen anything like that since I lived in Wisconsin. I know you guys have it worse up there. Supposed to be a big thaw coming for us though. Temps in the mid 60s which im also not super excited about. How bout just average conditions for this time of year? Too much to ask?
Although a super nice buck that I missed last season just popped on camera for me!! So there’s still some hope. Forgive the grainy SPYPOINT pic but he’s a goodern for this area.

I had 3 does come in right at close. They stayed in the thick stuff. One got into my lane and I had the first stage of the 2 stage trigger pulled and she took another step behind brush… They’re playing hard to get by my house. I plan on going somewhere better this weekend for the end of the holiday hunt.

Stock rest. I did have to change the quiver out because the one that they sent with it is a little brittle in the cold. Otherwise it's pretty nice being able to maneuver that little thing around in a tree and from a ground blind. This is my first year with it so I have not shot any animals yet. Paired with a turkey seat I can just rest my arms and get a super steady rest.
