Good Job. Saw Mine Fall Last Nite Too But Let the Dog Track it.Congrats man! Hilarious you're the only one hoping for a long track and you didn't get it!
Congrats @EricS !Made my second sit of the season this evening. Saw seven does and fawns yesterday morning. Sat this evening and saw four bucks three one and a half year olds and the 2.5 I shot. One of the smaller bucks had what appeared as one horn. There was a second just kind of hanging off the side of his head. I have a pup I’m training to trail deer. Never got much of a look at the buck ther than seeing he was substantially larger than the other three. He offered a slight quartering to and I took it hoping for a 100-150 yard track to work the pup on. He ran about 120 and died five yards from my tree. I felt silly walking a big circle to where I shot the buck just so the dog could trail it to a spot 30 yards from where I unloaded her. Wasn’t the buck I hoped it was but I was blessed with a great evening in the woods.

Only one way to know for sure…Here’s a picture of what I call my pup. She’ll be two in February. Got an interesting picture of another deer on camera last night. Can’t tell if it’s his ears or double main beams.

Awesome! Im excited about November too. Although our first 2 weeks forecast shows above average tempsNice work @philsanchez76 !!
I’ve got a work project this weekend and then I’ll pretty much hunt everyday during November. My goal is to put 20 points up for team. But, I’m not gonna be too picky!
Same here, and quite manic too: highs in the 70s and lows in the upper 20’s. At least those swings will make for some good thermals.Awesome! Im excited about November too. Although our first 2 weeks forecast shows above average temps
That’s a great position to be in.Nothing special, but he is in the freezer and will be on the table tonight. Happy to help the team. Looking for at least a doe, but hopefully a big buck also. I'll have to be a bit more selective now.
Nothin better than loading up the freezer with some meat and then serving up the tenderloins and backstrap right away. We had bacon wrapped tenderloins today for lunch while watching the Titans game. perfect.Nothing special, but he is in the freezer and will be on the table tonight. Happy to help the team. Stay positive man. you got more public options in Indiana? Or looking at some private?Put in some major hours on public, just no luck. Going to explore more options. Probably won't hunt again for awhile. Congrats to @Chrighton! Good job to the rest of you hunters carrying me.
