I have a set of 5. I have a paracord loop tied on the top of one stick. I hang one stick and the other 4 hang on one side of my saddle in one of those kydex clips you can get from EWO. I use the original orange stacking pins. They work fine and the stack stays together just fine. I can quietly remove a stick from the stack as I go and reassemble the stack on my way down. Couldn’t be easier or cheaper.

How high can you get with 5 sticks? Thinking of getting rid of my moveable aider.TIA

I haven’t measured but I’m 6’1” and I stretch them out a good bit. I originally bought 6 and sold 2 thinking I was going to carry 4 and had a BWMG 3 step aider to add some more height. I didn’t like the 3 step at all so I figured at 1lb it would as just as easy to carry a 5th stick.

I have 5 sticks, been carrying 4 with a moveable 1 step aider.

I can easily space them 24" apart, especially with no aider in the mix, so that would get me

5 x (20+24)/12 = 18.33 feet

With 4 sticks and a 1 step aider, I get 21 to 24 feet from my rangefinder to the ground (range while leaning and bent over so probably 5 feet above platform)

It really depends upon how long your legs are and how flexible you are.

I have some EWO steps and stand offs kickin around, just ordered some 18” featherweight tubes that should be in Thursday. I’m honestly on the fence and may just say heck with tethrd. Kind of feel like a dummie for buying them now after the previous issues, but im a sucker for saving weight. I really hope I get a response soon…

I’ve used my tethrd one sticks probably 8 times this hunting season and so far I love the dang things. I’m going to be very sad if they break.
I hope they don’t man. Maybe I’ve got bad luck…I’m a light weight at 145# and I don’t abuse them by any means. I get the stick hitched and set it and climb up. I’ve never hopped or jumped on them or anything. One thing I can confidently say, I’ve ran beast sticks and EWO and I’ve never had a problem with either. And I’ve used them both a full season plus each. I hunt 20-30 times a year I bet and I also hang cams/take down cams with them, and do practice sets throughout the year. Some of those hunting days are more than one set up too.

How are you getting the one sticks up the tree with a tree stand? All my hunts so far with the ones have been with a saddle. On the saddle is a genesis 3d that holds my sticks quietly as I climb.
Tree stand has been a nightmare. I cannot bring the sticks up on my rock climbing harness without them banging onto either the carabineer or stand.

Sticks hang from paracord off a kydex hook on my tx5 minimalist at about 9 o’clock on my left hip and treestand on my back. I would love to bring my pack up too but the pack and bow get roped up.

Treestand on back, my sticks go under my seat on my .5. I can’t deploy my sticks without taking my stand off my back. Since these sticks are so light I hand 3 off one side how they would be stacked while I pack them in. I use a simple piece of paracord to an s binder on my saddle. I do stack my sticks in a way that the 2 other sticks are on top of the stick I hang off my saddle so they can’t slip out of the pegs, if that makes any sense.

I use a treble hook looking thing and once up to stand height I fish for it.I bring my bow and backpack up the same way. Sticks stacked together hooked to saddle with paracord.

Ok what replacement ropes are people using/recommending? Are these ropes warrantable? I think @raisins jinxed me, two of my four sticks the OG ropes are almost cut in half. I didn't hear or feel anything but I left them on the tree last evening and went back on my lunch break to take everything down and voila, two of the four strained and one lucks cut. I'll get pics soon. I'm not sure what I did wrong or differently but I noticed they are tucking back into behind the wrap button on some of them. Used them all the last half of last season without any issues. They are still rock solid and working great, I really love them but these ropes and the button are ticking me off.

I replaced the ones on my Skeletors with these. I believe it's the same attachment method as the One Stick?

I’ve been happy with everything from Real Deal Amsteel, but this issue probably goes beyond construction. If the Dyneema material is being damaged, it’s more to do with the stick than the rope.
