One guy has a problem and now two? Out of the thousands in use? Like I said. Any metal can fail. We just focus on the now two rather than the thousands that haven’t broke.

Fair pointHard to criticize Hawk then, when wayyyy more Hawk sticks have been on trees through the years, assuming that thought process
Sooooo,
I had one of my five steps start to wobble/squeak.
I emailed Tethrd. They had a stealth stripped replacement on the way in one business day.
The one thing I did notice though, the stick that developed the problem was my 4th stick in my climb. I’m on that one the most amount of time setting my 5th stick and my platform. Not sure if that had anything to do with it.
I don’t think it’s an epidemic yet for them, otherwise I’m sure we would hear about in this forum.Interesting find.
I think mine get mixed up so I don’t know if I could easily identify which one I stand on longest.
They seem to be very open and quick replacing these wobbles. I’m wondering if they’re seeing quite a few.
Hmmm. I’ll have to watch out for those!I am gonna keep a close eye on Arsenal this year. Rumor has it that guy that designed the X20 sticks also designed these tethrd one sticks. Arsenal comes out with a fixed stick. It might put these tethrd sticks to shame…

Yeah, I am very excited to see that fixed stick from hunt arsenal. @MIPublic turned me on to the RZR and its my favorite. With their platforms, Aiders and sticks already out I think they are one of the best companies. Fixed sticks from them would be amazing.I am gonna keep a close eye on Arsenal this year. Interesting, I remember discussing the prototype One stick Carl was using at the 2020 Saddlepalooza. He relayed it was a design he & Garrett worked on. They were having trouble deciding how to attach the platform step.I am gonna keep a close eye on Arsenal this year. Also be interesting to see what improvements can be made to the One design - can it get lighter?
More foot room = less packabilityI don’t think lighter would be the objective. More foot room, standoffs that bite better, quieter and better stacking system.

Never had an issue with bite, but also haven’t had that with any stick I’ve ever tried.
Yep pins suck hugely.
I would change the attachment rope to a 7/64 daisy chain & the stacking pins.
