Kaitlyn Maus just gave a pretty good breakdown of the new pack on her Instagram story. It’s a lot nicer than I was expecting.
I seen it somewhere else to it looks really nice.Kaitlyn Maus just gave a pretty good breakdown of the new pack on her Instagram story. It’s a lot nicer than I was expecting.
I think I was suppose to be working on that wan't I....Nothing addresses stick hauling because stick hauling can’t be addressed. Sticks are the problem, not carrying them.
Unless someone makes a stick quiver for lwcg single step sticks. That would be cool. One stick in each “tube” lined with fleece. Slide in and out easy. Strap to anything easy.

Hauling sticks was a major reason I went to a one stick. A single 12" stick can fit just about anywhere on or in that pack. You don't need a pack to address hauling sticks. LWCG has solved that riddle. J-hooks. Sticks lock to the platform.
Some frame packs have deep enough nalgene pockets to seat sticks into and then cinch down. A reinforced hole at the bottom of such a pocket to cradle an extended step would be cool. But pack flat sticks are easy enough to strap onto backpacks with good webbing layouts.

Really it depends on where and how you hunt. It absolutely isnt even sorta close to working for me hunting on the public I hunt. The private I hunt occasionally though, it might work ok.That tethrd pack leaves a lot to be desired.
Totally valid. My whole-here thing is, Tethrd was built (at least partially and primarily) on the concept of making “mobile hunting” easier, more efficient, more cost-effective and accessible to more average-Jack hunters. The Predator, HYS and SYS, ropes, even the initial packs for predator and one-sticking, all seem to share this motivation to varying degrees of success. I just don’t see that mission statement reflected in this pack.Really it depends on where and how you hunt. It absolutely isnt even sorta close to working for me hunting on the public I hunt.
