Tethrd Predator CFX

Need to see dimensions, see how it will fit on my pack, and make a decision then. If I can go from standard to XL at the same or slightly less weight and not stand on cold metal it’s still an upgrade I’m potentially interested in. I’ve personally got no safety concerns being one of the first to get it.

For the XL, I think that’s pretty good. That should put the regular around 2.5.

These weights were closer to what I was tracking and seeing. Hence why I'm so confused. Oh wait. Even Tethrd doesn't know what to publish. This is a full scale psychological warfare operation.

No, once again they over-promised and under-delivered. Literally the same schtick they’ve been using since 2018.
What’s the saying? “Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.” That’s what is so entertaining about these tethrd threads. Sure, we all enjoy bashing on them - some more than others. But, at this point, come on. Really. Did you expect anything besides this? In your own words, they’ve been doing this since 2018, with multiple product “launches”. What you can come to expect: the announcement of an exciting new product launch, pre-order shenanigans, over-promise and under-deliver, multiple versions of the same product due to breaking or failures, and people complaining. It is very predictable. Shame on anyone that expects anything different at this point, especially if they complain about the product and still buy it.

I have vomit in my mouth while I type this.

They have delivered a safe, light weight and non-metal platform that actually fits an application.
Beefing it up that much must make it a tank. I'm no math wizard but that must be a pretty high percentage of material added from the prototypes.

I hope.....

Only outcome I can think of also.

You may not have seen post #3…

I feel more responsible than anything else. Shame on me and my premonitions.

At this point I have no faith in their products. Advertising specs on unreleased products before substantive testing, to get the hype machine primed… Really it’s just getting to be ridiculous.
I'm starting to think the good 'Ole Boys at tethrd are playing chess over there, while we are sitting here playing checkers...

Playing chess with our well-being at elevated positions. No thanks. From DIY start up to Patent Pirates.
I believe they were stealing before their DIY start up.... Their original saddle...
Something about beginning as"rotten fruit"...
I'm sure their legal team knows the lingo my small mind is trying to remember.
