Tethrd Skeletor Sticks

Your suggestion was a good one. Shown with a dogbone... I made it short seems it's late season here in MI. It's about a 15in step, maybe less with boots. Inner tube to hold step slightly open. I made small eyes and you have to force them on the steps... less likely to come off that way. This could be kept on... see pic of sticks still stacking using pins. Steps also fold up decent, but it may wear loop out... should be good for awhile.
If you wanted CAYG see orange dog bone with larger loops.
I haven't spiced in awhile and the @g2outdoors video inspired me.
I still need to try them on a tree tomorrow.

I hunted with ones like your orange one on Thursday. Double step on bottom stick, 2 singles on other 3. 3 sticks total and I was 18’+ on platform with no issues

I'd consider using a ranger bead with slightly larger loop to get around the fork.

I never buy items on backorder for this exact reason. Sometimes you can be left in limbo for months or longer. I had commended them for how they were handling this with the first 1000 orders being guaranteed, then the rest going to backorder while notifying the customer of this prior to submitting the order. Seemed like a good way to handle it and very transparent. Or I guess maybe not...

I checked to see if maybe they hadn't even charged my card yet...but of course they did, right after the order.

I will just wait longer, and I guess plan to use them for next season.

I considered starting a thread under shipping timelines but figured it wouldn’t get much traction.
I ordered on Nov 28 and no shipping notice yet. I have no problems with their timeline but would be interested to see when others ordered/received shipping notice/received sticks.
Again, not complaining, just to determine when mine may ship based on other information.
Same here. I wish I even knew what number out of the 1000 my order was... I'm stoked to try them. I like my Hawk minis ok but have had kick-out and these standoffs look much better. I dig the stacking style more too

If you email, they will let you know if you are in the 1000 or not. But they didn’t tell me where in the 1000 I was.

I will say most companies do not charge your card until they are preparing to shop the item. I too like the way these stack and the price point is very good. As far as all the sticks out there go, the new Hawk minis are still the best buy out there. They corrected some of the issues with the stacking buttons and come with a nice Daisy chain strap as well. If they could shave another pound off the Hawk minis it would be hard to compete with them. I bought these as I do like the angled step and the way they stack.

For all the guys mentioning aiders, why not just use a knaider? I mean put it on at bottom of tree and go, no moving anything or adding anything as you climb. I have tried them all, Amstel singles, doubles, straps everything and to me the knaider is the way to go.

I got a chance to hunt with the sticks yesterday. I loved them. I've been using some lightly modded trophyline/novix minis for the last two years. These are a major upgrade. I like the 20" stick length. The steps fit my size 12 hunting boot great. The standoffs bit the tree well and handle my 300# great. On the first climb I got to around 14' easily without stretching it or using an aider. The attachment system worked great. I recommend them. They are a solid stick out of the box. I want to spend my time hunting, not modding. The price and features are a great balance.

Confession:

I’m not nearly as patient as I think I am. Where are my dang sticks!!!

I got a shipping notice today. And now I'm out of archery buck tags...

Before this moves to the shipping timeline forum, has anyone got an actual weight on one of these? Website seems to have them at 163.7 lbs for a 4 pack which would put them over 2.5lbs per stick. But I’ve seen YouTube videos with guys weighing them lighter. Just wondering if anyone that’s received theirs has put them on a scale?
