Tethrd Skeletor Sticks

Received a new DynaLoc button to replace the one that was damaged during shipping. Pretty fast response from Tethrd.

They also threw in 4 packs of replacement rubber nubs that are used to lock the sticks together. One pack for each stick....so I have a good stock of those if any fall out or get worn down. That was a nice touch.

So I'm very pleased with Tethrd's response to the damaged stick. They did right.

Been playing around with these sticks as I get free time and I'm just super impressed with them. These sticks are kind of flying under the radar for how awesome they are.

In love with my Skeletors. Basically perfect for my needs. Has me thinking, be cool to have that Dynatab button on my Predator platform. I use 1/8 amsteel anyway but, I really like how securely the Dynatab locks everything down. I emailed the fellas at Tethrd the idea but, I'm just some dude so who knows. I'd dump my existing platform and upgrade if it came out though!

I can attest to that as well. Very well taken care of by customer support.

Got the sticks!. So far I'm liking them pretty well and i'm a die hard lone wolf stick guy. Like everything but just have to figure out a aider.
I run a double Amsteel on my bottom stick and a single on my next and bare on the next two and get to 18-20 comfortably. I'm 6'0

For sure, I've been playing with mine for about a month, can't find anything I don't like about them. They stick to the tree great, the dynalock feature is genious, quiet setup, stack great, easily get me 18+ ft. with no aiders. Need I continue? Lol

Get some shrink wrap and fold rope on end, I did a tri- fold. About 2"s long so lost 4"s on length. Shrink wrapped it. Works pretty well to give it some weight to throw around tree

These are the first set of stick I have owned. I’m new to saddle hunting. I used these for my first climb. They do bite hard and are very stable. I hold the loose end of the rope and pass the stick around the tree. For me grabbing the stick is easier than trying to catch a small rope.

I messed around today. With 2 double amsteel aiders and then a third stick with no aider it will get me 19 feet. I'm happy with that. It's fast and quiet and light weight.

Grab the bottom standoff like this and push the other stick(s) down with your thumb.

They will get a little easier with time. Might not hurt to run a bore brush through the holes to knock the finish down a bit

Late to respond, but tried it out a few weeks ago and works perfectly. No more cuts or hammer thumbs and it’s way more quiet. My fingers sincerely thank you!

Earlier In this thread there was talk about different aider options s for the Skeletors - I came up with a design for a retractable aider that I really like - stacks well too! Let me know what you think! (Click on the pic to see the how to diy video)

Wow great idea! Almost seems like this should be a factory option.
Thank you, I’m glad you like it! And yeah that would be cool if there was a pre-built option would could add on! I’ve been talking to the amsteel guy and I know he’s working on getting kits together for people who want to diy these!
