The sun giving you away

I have a theory. Based on all my hours of scientific research.....
It's not about the camo pattern, it's about the texture. Lots of guys swear by the leafy suits. I agree. I have a set of camo that is fleece like on the exterior. It has a "softer" look to it. My theory is it absorbs some of the reflection or re directs it so it's not so bright. That deer can pick up on the reflection of some kinda light. That pimp hoody @Nutterbuster is rocking in the photo looks sweet to me. Texture look. Not flat. It is one thing I kinda hate about Scentlok. A lot of the stuff looks like good camo pattern, but I feel with some sun beams hitting you, I stand out big time. You can pick a hunter out easily in a tree if the sun is on them with that kinda camo. Your eyes dart to it.
My two cents.
From what I hear, that hoody that @Nutterbuster is wearing is not a "pimp" hoody at all but rather a hoody patterned after the clouded leopard and carefully designed to make you disappear in trees.

Spotted a fellow saddler in Kansas by the reflection off his carabiner. Lousiana guy, we’re friends now. He was in a tree I picked a few days earlier, he ended up shooting a pretty good buck from it.

It would be interesting to see these pictures taken with different skin complexions and beards.

Go to Stuttgart, AR during duck season. Drive the roads looking for little humps in the rice fields. You will probably notice the big moon pie faces in the humps (pits) before you see the pit. When they have a beard you see a smaller portion of their face.
