The things we find in the woods...

That is the fabled black broadhead of death. It only appears for hunters that are deemed unworthy. You should have placed it on a arrow and waited for the preferred angle (rumpside), guaranteed to be taking home a trophy.

Someone must've went for the ol' Texas heart shot and whiffed... :tearsofjoy:

No this isn't mine. Found it today while hiking. I thought maybe it was just a prank. I had climbing sticks with me (in case I wanted to throw up a camera on public land) and climbed to check it out. I couldn't see the type of tip and I couldn't pull it out. It was probably 15 feet up the tree

Poor penetration. Must've been a light arrow and a mechanical head. If it had been an adult arrow and a cut on contact fixed blade, that tree would've had 2 holes instead of one. :p

With a proper RF rig that tree is firewood, split and stacked from that one shot.

Needed a single bevel head

Found these today on the river. These were brought in by a boat. All 3 different ladder stands practically right on top of one another.....

Found this tree stand yesterday out post season scouting. It's in a awesome spot and extremely well camouflaged. The only thing that peeved me off was that it is sitting over an active bait pile. Baiting is illegal here in Michigan's lower peninsula and it is after season. I walked away shaking my head. This guy didn't need bait where this stand is located.
