Tradbow Daily Challenge

Here's #1. My boys were tied up last night so it was just me.

It would be a lot easier to catch up if you guys would quit making these cold shot challenges. ;)

I will be MIA for about a week on challenges...I finally got serious about tuning my bow and getting the right arrow set up so everything is at my local shop for now. Pretty excited to really get things dialed in the way they should be. Arrows should be looking sweet...went with GT carbons with 2 Green, 1 white with a white crest. Just need to play around with inserts and arrow length etc. before finalizing everything! Hopefully i will be Robin Hooding them when I make it back!

I robin hooded one not long ago and the first arrow was trashed but the second (the one that did the hooding) looked fine. When I grabbed the second arrow to pull it out of the first, I jerked my hand back in pain.... looked like I got nailed by a mini-porcupine. Had at least 15 tiny carbon splinters in my palm.

I understand. If you just want to catch up, you can shoot them all in one day, just post the 1st time you shot that challenge so it wasn’t practiced. It’s just for fun anyway. I got some catching up to do too.

Used "point on" at 10, 15, 20
Drops alot from 10 to 20 - anyone use the point on set at 20 or even 25, instead of 10 - 15?
Something I need to think about, hmmm

This is great prep work for the sesaon though. Trad is hard, I can not shot my RX1 for a month and fire 5 cold arrows at 30 into a tennis ball.

Challenge #6
This cold shot challenge as taught me that I tend to pull my very first shot left...dont know why. Any thoughts? Tomorrow I will draw and let down the first shot before actually taking the shot to see if that straightens it out
