Tree Styx

Man what a great invention. I like them but I’m not so sure about glue holding the steps to the post. Would feel more comfortable if there was a nut and bolt of something. Am I overthinking this?
I don’t think anyone knows for sure how they’re held together. He said $125-150 per stick I believe. Possibly a discount for a 4 pack.

I stand corrected. Their response to how the steps are attached to the carbon post. “With one chemical bond and two mechanical bonds. We have a proprietary epoxy mix that contains solid particles that forms the chemical bond, the first mechanical bond, and then we have a hardened steel pin that’s inserted afterwards.”

I hope those pins are coated correctly, and stainless. Should have used titanium pins.

I’m surprised these haven’t gotten more coverage at the ata show. Haven’t seen a single video other than the companies. Personally I think these will be superior to the ones as long as they hold up. It may take a generation or two but the stacking system is better and more efficient. In-line stacking. “No chandeliering”. Different step length options. Integrated aiders. Longer standoff distance. Supposedly he’s been working on this design for three years. I’d like to support this guy at some point but I won’t be a first gen tester on these.
Marketing - look at his booth and colors. Now scroll back & take a look at Tethrd’s booths at ATA. Products don’t sell without marketing.

With respect to it being a trade show, hope they are getting a fair shake for the innovation awards.

Anyone know if these sticks are for sale and being delivered to customers? Went to the site and didn't see a way to order or a price, maybe i missed it??

Looks like they’re using hangfree hfas for the attachment method.

A 20” stick with attachment method, built in versa clip & aider at 1 pound is impressive. Hope they hold up.

Wonder if they'll be at the GAOS in Harrisburg Pa next month ?

Not seeing Hyperstyx...but may not have looked enough ?
I don't see them either. I sent them a e mail and asked about the Mobile Hunting Expo. This is the response I got.

Man I hate to be that guy, but I don’t like anything about these. Aesthetically they just scream big-box, China-made, hope they last through the season until I can find something better.

So many parts, pieces, fasteners, glue, string, plastic… all for a retractable aider you can make yourself in 30 min for just about any stick.

I guess I’m not the target market.

FYI, they are made in Michigan.
