I picked up a mission platform. It seems pretty solid, pretty wide. Sits real solidly on the tree. Outside corners flex just a little (i mentioned its wide.) Its a little heavy compared to predator, ridgerunner and podium. I am also going to put castration bands on the belt to keep the strap from slipping off. My rubber boots haven't made any noise on the wet surface. I like the little step. I plan on adding some paint camo in the next few days. Its definitely a nice platform.

Mine is supposed to be here tomorrow. I don't seem to mind the extra weight if the packability is decent. Sticks is where I run into the most trouble with that. The RR and predator I had seemed to get lost in my pack. Looking forward to trying this platform out. The reviews seem to be overwhelmingly positive.

Got mine in yesterday, threw it on a tree this morning and was impressed by it. I didn't think it flexed much at all and handled side pressure very well. I know it's not going to fit in the pack I'm running now so may need to work on a way to carry it but other than that very good product

Ordered mine on Wednesday and had it in my hand on Saturday. First year saddle hunting, that's why I choose a large platform. This thing is rock solid, simple to cam down and very quite. Trophyline has a great product and at this time of year it only took 3 days to get. Amazing company!

Got mine yesterday! Looks and feels solid so far. Set it up on a small oak today and even though the upper cleat wasn't even fully grounded on the bark due to the tree diameter being too narrow, it felt solid in all directions using the factory buckle strap.

How are you folks packing yours?
Are you using the two black straps that came in the box as shoulder straps or to cinch sticks to the platforms?

I am using four short Helium sticks and have them in two bundles attached with gear ties (heavy metal zip ties with rubber coating). The protrusion in the middle of the stand makes it somewhat uncomfortable on the back.

Anyone have a pack recommendation that they tuck the platform into?

Would also like recommendations on how to pack the mission. I really like it on the tree but am not liking it much for packing it in and wearing on the back

The warehouse for trophy line? I’m from the Pittsburgh area as well and was thinking of ordering the mission so it be nice to just pick it up instead of waiting for it to ship!
If you order one you would probably have it delivered in a day or two.

I’d also like to know how people are planning on packing this in. I considered using some surplus ALICE pack straps I have and using it as a frame pack with my jacket bungee’d to the back. I’m concerned with the center bump out that looks like it could make it fairly uncomfortable to carry in. One possible alternative is to use a foam pad instead of knee pads once at height and use the same pad as a back pad for some stand-off while walking in with it in frame pack mode.

I will be strapping mine to my popup pack, definitely not the minimalist approach, if somebody figures out a good lighter solution that would be great, post some pics!

I received mine today! Very well built! Mine weighed 5.8 pounds with strap, seems right on par with everyone else. I can’t wait to get it outside and try it out! Good ole USPS took 10 days to get it to me, but I think it was worth the wait!

I have been looking myself since I cant dip for a CAYS pack right now but with 4 Heliums strapped to it, it really is not that bad to just carry holding it on the side which is what I will probably do until I find a pack option.

My "plan" is with my Eberlestock X2. What I'd love to be able to make happen is strap down the platform itself with the vertical straps, then attach my sticks to the platform by stick talons or eventually a fang system. Finally strap the horizontal straps around the sticks. When I get to the tree, all I have to do is unclip the horizontal straps. My platform is still fastened to my pack, and my sticks are still attached to my platform. As I go up, I can clip the sticks off as needed. I don't like to have to set my pack on the ground. This also eliminates bungee straps and gear ties....I haven't put this into action yet so could not work....but I have high hopes!

Packs great on my Badlands Superday pack. Strap it to the outside with the 3 straps and no worries about the hump in the middle of platform. The clothes in your pack will be between you and the platform!
