Umm ... Aerohunter Retires Kestrel and Kite

I wonder what the two new designs will be like.

Good move on limiting options. That said, I do not want a saddle that I have to step into or put over my head.

Pretty soon my predator fall grey flex will be a legacy product.

I can only imagine that the next step will blow minds

I've got a Kestrel, which is my first and only saddle. I like it. It's a lot more bulk than a lot of saddles, but it works and I think the rugged construction helps with confidence when you're starting out.

I'm curious what the new designs will be like. I've been thinking about the Recon, but now feel like maybe I should hold off.

Looks like some other things are discontinued also:

As some of you have noticed we have reduced the Aero Hunter product line as of August 1, 2020.

As we ramp up production for the 2020 Hunting Season to reduce lead time on orders, we looked at sales trends for all three models of Aero Hunter saddles. Based on that analysis we chose to focus solely on the Kestrel Flex, which is still wildly popular and our best selling hunting tree saddle.

This means that we have retired the Kestrel and Kite.

The Flex is now available in Broadside Closer camo or a solid grey, with an adjustable webbing bridge. This change will reduce the wait time for shipping orders, and free us up to move forward with two other designs we have in the works. There's always something new going on at Aero Hunter!

Until then, here's what people will find on Aerohunter.us:

Kestrel Flex Size 1 or Size 2

Color: Broadside Closer camo or solid Grey.

Discontinued: ASAT and Predator Fall Grey

Bridge:Adjustable webbing bridge, built in.

Discontinued: Webbing bridge with carabiner, Rope bridge with carabiner

We Will continure to sell the following as well:

Lineman's belt Tree Strap Back Band Molle Accessories Small bag, black (no more camo) Gear bag, black (no more camo) Apparel (no change) Books & Videos (no change)

Supply and demand. I can’t knock them for that. USA small business so I want them to stay in business and be successful.

I agree. Their wait times increased far to long.

Only thing I wished they offered was the flex in mesh.

I still really like my Kestrel. The only reason why its not my go-to saddle is because I like the Recon better.

Ok, who's been stealing **** from em again

I purpose they call there yet to be announced saddle The Yark.
Sorry, but the next one is always called the HYPE! All these years and there are still Anderson based models selling, but everything else keeps changing, ending, and stealing the game, or just dying. All hail King Anderson! :)

Edit - had to post this here since I went to Saddlepalooza 2019 fully intending to buy a Kite, but @Nutterbuster just had to bring an Anderson to sell and ruined my plans. Also wanted to @Allegheny Tom riled up on slings!
