oooh sorry. I don't use a brim. generally my supports break off very easily, occasionally I have to use a tool to access them. Perhaps try a different shape or density of support? My issue isn't getting the part off of the print bed, it's getting these extra parts (brim and other supports) off of the printed part after the print is finished.
Have you finished that remodel yet? Dont mess around and git yosef in trouble.2 is 1, 1 is none. Right? View attachment 101672
Hahaha! My son coming two months early blew the remodel out of the water. And my wife has been understanding. I have gotten a surprising amount done but I still lack the bathroom remodel lol. That said I did struggle explaining this one to the Mrs.Have you finished that remodel yet? Dont mess around and git yosef in trouble.![]()

Thanks @Black Titan . I have done zero playing with settings yet. I'll try some of this when I get time to print again. In your slicer, try playing with the support distance and density settings, by a little at a time. And see that support distance priority is set to "z overrides x/y" if you have that option.
My supports break off pretty easy for the most part. My settings are:
Support density: 10.0%
Support Line Distance: 4.0mm
Support Z distance : 0.2mm
Support X/Y distance: 0.7mm
Minimum support distance: 0.2mm
For your brim you can play with the distance a little too.

Some local stuff called AF (American Filament). This is PLA, but they have PLA+ as well in their “Army Green”.What filament is that?
Just seeing this, but no it is not. I’m sure you could model a larger more sturdy version for thicker ropes. Is this big enough for 40ft of dyneema pull up rope? I've printed a couple of spool designs that didn't quite work out or pack down the way I wanted them to. Still looking for an idea for that.

I had some downtime on both of my machines. One ended up having a bad thermistor and the other had some loose fasteners that tie down the Extruder motor. It caused me to chase my tail trying to adjust my z height. I had to reinstall windows since it was corrupted and I thought I saved off all my files but lost all my parts I was working on.
Below is a model I whipped up a few months back that I wasn’t able to print due to the aforementioned problems. This one is another base for the smallrig adjustable ball head for a trail camera. You could also mount a trail camera directly to the bolt but you would be limited to pan and a fixed tilt.
This revision is smaller and able to be printed bottom up, which are decent upgrades. I added some knurling to the tree side which I’m very pleased with. I also tightened the tolerance on the hex head so that it is pretty close to captive. View attachment 103939View attachment 103940View attachment 103941
