I always thought it was ridiculous to think just because someone is wearing a hat/shirt or whatever with a logo that someone else would go out and buy that product. Who does that?

The SH Membership has gone live. Only SH Members have access to post in the classifieds. All members can view the classifieds. I generally agree with this. However there are a few businesses that I’m happy enough with to buy a hat and advertise for them. Eastern Woods Outdoors is one of them. Every order I check to see if their olive drab hat is in stock. I’d happily pay the price for a nice looking hat to a business that’s treated me so well in all my dealings with them.

Looks nice, I think your using a predator xl? Whats your plan with this pack and the xl, strap it on or will it fit inside, I’m switching to bolts and weighing my options as well.

i will probably be using one stick with a straight scout on top and 2-3 squirrel steps on an OCB most of the time.
when I run the predator xl it will probably be late season with multiple sticks and I will probably strap it to the outside of the pack with the sticks. Outer layers inside the pack. That might change when I see the pack.

I’d have to agree. And if we’re honest, how many of these “free” logo hats are actually worn compared to how many end up at goodwill/trash?

Not today but have a rope bag and 3/4" webbing inbound.
Gonna try my hand at sewing a gear strap that if it works will be exactly what I want for a gear strap in the tree.
The rope bag is also a gamble but if I like it will be small yet hold 100' of rope which'll give me the stuff bag I've been looking for to meet my base anchor wants.

It would tangle too much if you don’t shorten it. No need to tell me when you do, I’ll know.
Didn't follow my own rule and shot a second arrow before pulling the first and cut a feather off. Got 100 feathers and some thermacell tampons and juice....gas and ice are all I need and I'm ready for season to begin.....21 more days to go

What rope bag did you buy?

It's a tactical tech small rope bag which is listed to hold up to 125' of 1/2" rope. This should be plenty big enough to hold my rope and climbing hardware.
